ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara empiris pengaruh good
corporate governance, sales growth, dan profitabilitas terhadap financial distress.
Pengukuraan financial distress dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Altman Z�score modifikasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Perusahaan Sub Sektor Hotel,
Restoran, dan Pariwisata yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2017-
2020. Jumlah pengamatan sebanyak 23 sampel penelitian yang diperoleh dengan teknik
purposive sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah
analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepemilikan
institusional, sales growth, profitabilitas berpengaruh terhadap financial distress,
sedangkan variabel dewan direksi tidak berpengaruh terhadap financial distress.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze empirical effect of good corporate governance, sales
growth, and profitability on financial distress. Measurement of financial distress in this
study uses the Altman Z-score modification method. The population of this research
are the Hotel, Restaurant, dan Tourism Sub Sector Companies listed on the Indonesian
Stock Exchange (BEI) in the 2017-2020 period. The number of observations were 23
research samples obtained by purposive sampling technique. The analysis technique
used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research
showed that institusional ownership, sales growth, and profitability have an effect on
financial distress, while the board of directors variables have no effect on financial
distress.
