INTISARI
Pengelolaan air asam tambang yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan dengan cara
pengaliran air asam tambang dari cekungan PIT Tambang yang kemudian dialirkan
menuju kolam stabilisasi yang akan dialirkan menuju “Labirin”. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi air asam tambang yang berada di area kolam
pengolahan air asam tambang serta mengetahui efisiensi kolam pengolahan air asam
tambang dengan model kolam labirin terhadap penurunan pH, Mn,Fe, TSS.
Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode matematis, matod
analisis statistik serta metode spektrofotometri yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui nilai
Mn, Fe, serta TSS. Titik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara purposive
sampling. Pengambilan sampel berada di 10 titik yaitu pada inlet, 8 segmen labirin
serta bagian outlet. Penentuan kualitas limbah air asam tambang berdasarkan Perda
Kaltim No 2 Tahun 2011 tentang Baku Mutu Air Limbah Kegiatan atau Usaha Pada
Industri Batubara. Untuk menentukan unit kolam pengolahan AAT yang efisien dan
ideal penulis berpedoman pada SNI 6774 – 2008 tentang Kriteria Unit Sedimentasi
Hasil penelitian yang di dapatkan adalah diketahui nilai rata rata pH pada area
inlet 3,5, pH rata – rata labirin segmen kanan 6,95, pH rata – rata labirin segmen kiri
6,96, Fe rata – rata labirin segmen kanan 0,28 , Fe rata – rata labirin segmen kiri 2,29
, Mn rata – rata labirin segmen kanan 1,77 , Mn rata – rata labirin segmen kiri 7,98 ,
serta TSS rata – rata labirin segmen kanan 13,04 , TSS rata – rata labirin segmen kiri
26,89 . Hasil uji jart test dengan menggunakan koagulan kapur didapatkan dosis
optimum untuk menetralkan pH asam sebesar 300 mg/ liter dengan waktu
pengendapan optimum untuk mengendapkan Mn selama 265 menit.

Abstract
The acid mine drainage system is implemented by the company by draining
acid mine wastewater from the PIT Tambang basin, which is then channeled into a
stabilization tank to be channeled into the “Maze”. This research aims to determine the
drainage status of acid mine drainage in the area of acid mine treatment ponds and to
determine the efficiency of the labyrinth model of acid mine drainage ponds in
reducing pH, Mn, Fe, TSS.
The method used in this study is a mathematical method, statistical analysis,
and spectrophotometric methods were carried out to determine the values of Mn, Fe,
and TSS. Sampling was done by the purposive sampling method. Sampling was done
at 10 points, namely at the entrance, 8 labyrinth sections, and the exit. Determination
of acid mine water quality is based on East Kalimantan Regional Regulation Number
2 of 2011 concerning Wastewater Quality Standards for Coal Industry Operations or
Generation. To determine the ideal and effective AAT treatment pool unit, the author
refers to SNI 677 - 2008 regarding the criteria for deposition units.
The results obtained showed that the average pH in the entrance area was 3.5,
the average pH for the right segment of the labyrinth was 6.95, and the average pH for
the left side of the labyrinth was 6.96. The Fe of the right-hand maze is 0.28, the
average of the Fe of the left-hand maze is 2.29, the average of Mn of the right-hand
maze is 1.77, the average of Mn of the left-hand maze is 7.98 and the average of the
left-hand maze is 7.98 right TSS is 13.0, the mean of the labyrinth on the left side of
the TS is 26.89. The results of the art experiment using lime coagulant obtained the
optimal dose to neutralize the acidic pH of 300 mg/liter with the optimal settling time
for 265 minutes of Mn deposition.
