Abstract
Telah dilakukan penelitian penyebaran batupasir dengan menggunakan seismik inversi Elastik Impedansi di lapangan “Kres” pada Formasi Talang Akar Bawah Cekungan Sumatera Selatan, Jambi, Sumatera Selatan. Metode ini dilakukan sebagai solusi terhadap kelemahan inversi AI dalam mengkarakterisasi lapisan batupasir. Data yang digunakan di lapangan ini yaitu seismik 3D poststack dan satu buah sumur eksplorasi. Elastik Impedansi (EI) merupakan hasil perkalian densitas dengan kecepatan gelombang P dan S. Elastik Impedansi diperoleh melalui inversi angel stack dengan menggunakan wavelet yang diekstrak dari stack tersebut sehingga diperoleh sifat Elastik Impedansi. Data sumur dan data seismik angle stack dijadikan input dalam proses inversi dan data sumur sebagai kontrolnya. Hasil dari proses inversi EI berupa peta persebaran, lalu dilakukan slicing untuk mendapatkan daerah low impedance sand yang diindikasikan sebagai gas sand berdasarkan nilai impedansi. Nilai Elastik impedansi yang diindikasikan sebagai sand memiliki nilai impedansi kurang dari 5500 – 7000 (ft/s)*(g/cc). Sedangkan zona non sand memiliki nilai impedansi lebih dari 7100 (ft/s)*(g/cc). Persebaran batupesir secara horizontal dilihat dari hasil slicing dan secara vertikal dilihat dari slicing dengan sampling tiap 2 ms dari horizon top sand ke bawah. Kata Kunci : Seismik Inversi, Elastik Impedansi (EI), Seismik 3D Poststack, densitas, seismik angle stack, slicing. The research on the spread of sandstones has been conducted. It was performed with the seismic inversion of elastic impedance (EI) in Kres field at Lower Talang Akar Formation, Jambi, South Sumatera. This method was applied as a solution to the weaknesses of AI inversion in characterizing the layer of sandstones. Data used in this field were seismic 3D post stack and one exploration well. Elastic Impedance (EI) is the result of multiplication between density and wave velocity of P and S. Elastic Impedance (EI) was obtained through angel stack inversion by using wavelet extracted from that stack so that the nature of Elastic Impedance was obtained. The data of well and those of seismic angle stack in the process of inversion were made as control and input. The results of EI process were in the form of 3D spreading, and then slicing was performed to obtain the area of low impedance sand having indication as gas sand based on the score of impedance. The value of elastic impedance indicated as sand has impedance value 5500 – 7000 (ft/s) * (g/cc). While the zone of non-sand has impedance value more than 7000 (ft/s) * (g/cc). The horizontal spreads of sandstones were viewed from slicing results and the vertical was seen by performing slicing vertically every 2 ms below top sand horizon.
