Abstract
xi ABSTRAK Televisi sebagai sarana hiburan serta informasi membuat pemirsa mendapat dampak tertentu d ari tayangan yang di saksikan . Sinetron adalah salah satu tayangan televisi yang membuat dampak pemirsa mengarah ke arah positif dan negatif, Salah satu nya adalah tayangan sinetron Religi “Islam KTP” . Penelitian ini berusaha untuk melihat pengaruh terpaan tayangan sinetron religi “Islam KTP” di SCTV terhadap perilaku beribadah siswa - siswi SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kalasan Yogyakarta. Rumusan masalah dalam penel itian ini adalah “Adakah Pengaruh yang signifikan antara terpaan tayangan sinetron religi “Islam KTP” di SCTV terhadap perilaku beribadah SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kalasan Yogyakarta ?’. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh terpaan tayangan sinetron religi “Islam KTP” di SCTV terhadap perilaku beribadah siswa - siswi SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kalasan Yogyakarta. Teori yang digunakan adalah Teori Terpaan Media, Teori Kultivasi. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah survey dengan metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Lokasi penelitian ini adalah di SMP Muhammadi yah 1 Kalasan yogyakarta. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 45 siswa SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kalasan Yogyakarta. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perhitungan diperoleh koefisien korelasi (R) sebesar 0,410 berarti antara terpaan tayangan sinetron religi dan perilaku beribadah pada di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kalasan Yogyakarta mempunyai hubungan positif. Sedangkan besarnya koefisien determinasi (R 2 ) adalah sebesar 0,168, artinya terpaan tayangan sinetron religi dapat memp engaruhi perilaku beribadah siswa SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kalasan Yogyakarta sebesar 16,8% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 73,2% dipengaruhi oleh varia bel la in di luar penelitian ini . Variabel terpaan tayangan sinetron religi (X 1 ) mempunyai t hitung sebesar 3,276 dengan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,002 yang lebih kecil dari 0,05, maka variabel terpaan tayangan sinetron religi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku beribadah pada di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kalasan Yogyakarta. Dengan demikian hipotesis yang menyatakan “Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara Terpaan Sinetron religi “Islam KTP” di SCTV terhadap Perilaku beribadah siswa SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kalasan Yogyakarta” Terbukti. Dengan demikian penelitian ini mendukung Teori Terpaan Media, Teori Kultivasi, Teori S - R. xii ABSTRACT Television which is an entertainment and information media can make the audience get many impact from the television progr ams that he/she watching.Electronic cinema is one of the television program which have the positif and negative impact.One of the electronic cinema is Islam KTP — religious electronic cinema — .This research is trying to analyze the influence of Islam KTP t o the Muhammadiyah 1 Junior High School Kalasan Yogyakarta students’s worship behavior.The formulation of the problem in this research is “Is there any significant influence between Islam KTP, religious electronic cinema,to the Muhammadiyah 1 Junior Hig h School Kalasan Yogyakarta students’s worship behavior?”.The research function is to describe the influence of Islam KTP electronic cinema to the Muhammadiyah 1 Junior High School Kalasan Yogyakarta students’s worship behavior.The theory which is use is m edia exposure theory and theory cultivation. The type of research which is use in this research is survey.The method which is use is quantitative method.The research location at Muhammadiyah 1 Kalasan Yogyakarta Junior High School.The analitycal technique s which is use is linear regression. The research result shows that from the calculation we get the coefficient correlation is 0,410 which means the Islam KTP electronic cinema and the students of Muhammadiyah 1 Kalasan Yogyakarta have positive relationship .While the coefficient of determination is 0,618,which is means religious electronic cinema can influence the worship behavior at Muhammadiyah 1 Kalasan Yogyakarta Junior High School for 16,8% while other for 73,2% be effected with other variable outside this research. The terpaan religious electronic cinema variable (X 1 ) have t calculate for 3,276 wth the significant level for 0,002 which smaller than 0,05,so the The terpaan religious electronic cinema variable influence the worship behavior of Muhamma diyah 1 Kalasan Yogyakarta students.So,the hypothesis wich stated There is an significant influence between islam ktp religious electronic cinema and worship behavior of Muhammadiyah 1 Kalasan Yogyakarta students is proven.So,this research support media ex posure theory, cultivation theory.
