Abstract

Kondisi Hidrogeologi suatu daerah rencana penambangan perlu diketahui
secara baik untuk menunjang kelancaran pelaksanaan terhadap kegiatan
selanjutnya.oleh karena itu, sebagai antisipasi akan dilakukanya perencanaan
tambang terbuka untuk endapan Batubara di Daerah Sungai Merdeka, Kec.
Samboja, Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara, Provinsi Kalimantan Timur, PT.
Singlurus Pratama melakukan penyelidikan Hidrogeologi.
Kajian Hidrogeologi yang dilakukan meliputi kondisi Hidrologi Daerah
Sungai Merdeka.debit Air limpasan, sifat hujan, sistem dan karakteristik akuifer,
potensi Air tanah.
Data curah hujan di dapatkan dari stasiun Badan Meteorologi dan
Geofisika Bandara Temindung Samarinda yaitu data 10 tahun terahir (2001-2010)
dengan curah hujan tahunan berkisar (1.676,3– 2.757,5) dan hari hujan (187 –
261) daerah penelitian termasuk curah hujan cukup tinggi. Nilai debit air limpasan
pada Blok Sungai Merdeka ialah 70-117 m3/detik. Berdasarkan hasil uji akuifer
di lapangan dengan metode slug test dan konstan heard diketahui nilai
permeabilitas (K) dari akuifer di Blok Sungai Merdeka berkisar antara (4,875 x
10-13- 4,975 . 10-6) meter/detik. Kualitas air permukaan tanah berdasarkan nilai pH
dan DHL dari hasil analisis kimia conto air, diketahui bahwa air permukaan
maupun airtanah di daerah penelitian berpotensi bersifat asam.

Abstract
Hydrogeology condition of a mining plan area should be well known to
support the smooth implementation of activities selanjutnya.oleh therefore, as an
anticipation of the execution of plans for open pit coal deposits in the River
Region Merdeka district. Samboja, Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan, PT.
Singlurus Pratama Hydrogeology investigation.
Hydrogeology studies performed included the Regional Hydrological
conditions Merdeka.debit River Water runoff, rain properties, and characteristics
of the aquifer system,ground water potential.
Rainfall data get from the station of the Meteorology and Geophysics
Temindung Samarinda Airport is the last 10 years of data (2001-2010) with
annual rainfall ranging from (1676.3 to 2757.5) and rainy days (187-261) area of
investigation, including bulk rainfall is high. Value of the runoff water discharge
on the River Block is 70-117 m3/second Merdeka. Parameters of the aquifer was
drilled to test Slug test drilling conducted on 6 drill holes, Based on the results of
aquifer tests in the field with the slug test method known and heard the constant
value of permeability (K) of the aquifer in the block between River Merdeka
(4.875 x 10-13 - 4.975. 10-6) m / sec. Quality of ground water based on pH value
and conductivity of the results of chemical analysis of water samples, it is known
that the surface water and groundwater in the area of investigation could
potentially acidic.
