PENGARUH PUPUK TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL
BAWANG MERAH (Allium ascolonicum L.)

ABSTRAK
Bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L.) menjadi komoditas andalan dan sangat di
gemari oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Hal ini dikarenakan bawang merah dapat
dimanfaatkan sebagai bumbu dapur maupun sebagai obat tradisional. Peningkatan
produksi bawang merah dapat dilakukan dengan pemupukan. Penlitian ini
bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil
bawang merah, menentukan dosis pupuk yang terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan
hasil tanaman bawang merah. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari 2021
sampai April 2021, di kebun percobaan Fakultas Pertanian UPN “Veteran”
Yogyakarta, Wedomartani, Ngemplak, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Ketinggian tempat
penelitian ± 110 mdpl. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap
(RAL) satu faktor pengaruh pupuk terdiri dari 6 taraf perlakuan yaitu Pupuk
kandang ayam 100 g/tanaman, Pupuk kandang ayam 125 g/tanaman, Pupuk
kandang ayam 150 g/tanaman, Pupuk kandang ayam 175 g/tanaman, Pupuk
kandang ayam 200 g/tanaman, Pupuk NPK 2,4 g/tanaman. Data dianalisis
keragamannya menggunakan Uji Analisis of Varians (ANOVA) pada taraf 5%.
Apabila terdapat beda nyata antar perlakuan diuji lebih lanjut dengan menggunakan
Uji Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa pemberian dosis pupuk kandang ayam memberikan pengaruh
nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 42 HST dan 56 HST, jumlah daun pada umur
14 HST, 28 HST, 42 HST dan 56 HST, jumlah anakan per rumpun pada umur 14
HST dan bobot umbi kering matahari per rumpun, pemberian dosis pupuk kandang
ayam yang tepat dengan dosis 150 g/tanaman memberikan hasil yang baik
dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lainnya.

EFFECT OF FERTILIZER ON GROWTH AND YIELD OF SHALLOTS
(Allium ascolonicum L.)

ABSTRACT
Shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.) are a mainstay commodity and are very popular
with the people of Indonesia. This is because shallots can be used as a spice in the
kitchen as well as traditional medicine. Increasing the production of shallots can be
done by fertilizing. This study aims to determine the effect of the dose of fertilizer
on the growth and yield of shallots, determine the best dose of fertilizer on the
growth and yield of shallots. The research was carried out from February 2021 to
April 2021, in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, UPN
"Veteran" Yogyakarta, Wedomartani, Ngemplak, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The height
of the research site is ± 110 meters above sea level. This study used a completely
randomized design (CRD) with one factor of fertilizer effect consisting of 6 levels
of treatment, namely chicken manure 100 g/plant, chicken manure 125 g/plant,
chicken manure 150 g/plant, chicken manure 175 g/plant, Chicken manure 200
g/plant, NPK fertilizer 2,4 g/plant. The data were analyzed for diversity using the
Analysis of Variance Test (ANOVA) at the 5% level. If there is a significant
difference between treatments, it is further tested using Duncan's Multiple Range
Test (DMRT) at a level of 5%. The results showed that the dose of chicken manure
had a significant effect on plant height at 42 DAP and 56 DAP, number of leaves at
14 DAP, 28 DAP, 42 DAP and 56 DAP, number of tillers per clump at 14 DAP and
dry tuber weight. Sun per clump, giving the right dose of chicken manure at a dose
of 150 g/plant give the best yeild compored to other treatments.
