FORMASI PARIGI, DAERAH PALIMANAN DAN
SEKITARNYA, KABUPATEN CIREBON, JAWA BARAT

Batugamping sering tidak diperhatikan manfaatnya. Batugamping sendiri
memiliki manfaat di beberapa dunia industri, salah satunya dijadikan bahan
utama semen. Semen sangat bermafaat yaitu sebagai bahan perekat dalam
bangunan. Dalam penelitian kali ini bertempat pada wilayah PT Indocement
Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk Cirebon Plant. Daerah Penelitian terdapat pada Formasi
Parigi yang berupa Batugamping dengan penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu Fasies
Batugamping agar mengetahui fasies apa saja yang berkembang pada formasi ini.
Daerah penelitian memiliki luasan 3 km x 3 km, dan terletak secara 0210900
mE -0213900 mE dan 9255500 mN -9258500 mN pada proyeksi UTM Zona
49S.
Metode yang digunakan adalah pemetaan, yaitu pengambilan data morfologi
dan geologi. Daerah penelitian memiliki pola pengaliran Radial (RDL) dan Sub�parallel (SP). Daerah penelitian ini memiliki enam bentuklahan yaitu, Bukit
Denudasional (D1), Bukit Terisolasi (D2), Quarry (A1), Penimbunan Tambang
(A2), Pemukiman (A3), dan Endapan Alluvial (F1).
Satuan batuan yang terdapat pada daerah penelitian yaitu Satuan
Batugamping, Satuan Andesit, dan Satuan Endapan Aluvial. Fasies Batugamping
yang berkembang pada daerah penelitian yaitu Fasies Packstone, Algal�Packstone, Foram-Packstone, Wackestone, Mudstone, dan Boundstone.
Potensi yang terdapat pada daerah ini adalah potensi positif berupa hasil
tambang dan geowisata, dan potensi negative berupa longsor.

Limestone usually not being noticed much for its benefits. Limestone has
many benefits for the industrial, one of its benefit is as cement raw material.
Cement is very important to be used as adhesive for buildings. In this research
located on PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk Cirebon Plant. The research
area is located in Parigi Formation which consist of Limestone and the research
being done is about Limestone Facies to understand what are the kind of facies
that developed in this formation. Research area has 3 x 3 km area, and located in
0210900 mE - 0213900 mE and 9255500 mN - 9258500 mN on the UTM Zone
49S projection.
Research method being used is mapping, which is morphological and
geological data accuisition. Research area has Radial (RDL) and Sub-Parallel
(SP) drainage pattern. This research area consist of six landform, Denudational
Hill (D1), Isolated Hill (D2), Quarry (A1), Mine Hoarding (A2), Settlement (A3),
and Alluvial Deposit (F1).
Rock units in the research area are Limestone Unit, Andesite Unit, and
Alluvial Deposit Unit. Limestone Facies that developed in the research area are
Packstone Facies, Algal-Packstone Facies, Foram-Packstone Facies,
Wackestone, Mudstone, and Boundstone.
Potential that available in this area are positive potential such as mining
product, geotourism, and negative potential such as landslide.
