Abstract

SARI
PT. Cipta Kridatama (PT. CK) merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam
bidang jasa pertambangan dan konstruksi pertambangan sejak 2003. Perusahaan
Usulan A dengan burden 9,5 m, spasi
880 BCM.ABSTRACT
PT. Cipta Kridatama (PT. CK) is a company engaged in mining services and
mining construction since 2003. The company has handled various mining projects
in Indonesia, especially coal mining projects, one of which is PT. Multi Harapan
Utama (PT. MHU) located in Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan
Province. PT. CK-MHU has the problem of not achieving the overburden stripping
target due to rock fragmentation that does not reach the target.
Based on the results of the study, problems were found in the fragment size
that was not optimal because there were still many materials measuring > 80 cm
(boulder) from the blasting results in the field. The non-optimal size of the blasting
fragments can affect the targeted production. Fragment size analysis was carried
out using the image analysis method. Based on the results of measurements in the
field using the image analysis method, the average fragment size of passing 80% of
the blasting results is 116,4 cm with a boulder percentage of 54,73%.
The factors caused the non-optimal size of the fragments result from the
blasting carried out are due to the inappropriate use of explosives and the current
blasting geometry for hard rock mass conditions, the geometry applied at this time
is burden 9 m, spacing 10 m, stemming 3,53 m, column filling 4,47 m and maximum
powder factor is 0,23 kg/m3 which there are still deviations in its application so it
is necessary to study the design of the blasting geometry which is applied to several
technical designs of the proposed geometry and its relation to the size of the
resulting fragments. The proposed geometry used the C.J. Theory approach. Konya
with burden 6 m, spacing 6,5 m, stemming 4,47 m, and by increasing the powder
factor from 0,23 kg/m3 to 0,466 kg/m3. Proposal A with burden 9,5 m, spacing
10,5 m, stemming 2,9 m, and powder factor 0.23 kg/m3. Proposal B with a burden
10 m, spacing 11 m, stemming 2,4 m, and a powder factor 0,23 kg/m3. To find out
the suitability of the resulting fragment size to the theory, it is necessary to calculate
the proposed geometry which was assumed to be in accordance with the design
geometry with the actual geometry in the field because there was no direct test of
the proposed geometry. From the geometry calculation, the percentage of pass
< 80 cm on CJ Konya's proposal was 83,32% with a blasting volume of 351 BCM,
proposal A was 64,79% with a blasting volume of 796 BCM, and proposal B was
65,31% with a blasting volume 880 BCM.
