DI DUSUN SIDOREJO, DESA TALUN, KECAMATAN KEMALANG,
KABUPATEN KLATEN, PROVINSI JAWA TENGAH

INTISARI
Penambangan yang telah beraktivitas di daerah penelitian ini telah berjalan sejak
tahun 2014. Kegiatan penambangan yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat sekitar ini telah
menimbulkan perubahan bentuk bentang lahan di daerah penelitian, yang
mengakibatkan degradasi lahan sehingga kualitas lahan dan produktivitas lahan
menurun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kerusakan lahan yang
terjadi akibat kegiatan penambangan pasir dan batu dan merancang arahan reklamasi
pada daerah penelitian menjadi kawasan perkebunan industri sengon.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu metode observasi dan
pemetaan, analisis uji laboratorium dan analisis deskriptif. Parameter kerusakan lahan
yang digunakan yaitu tinggi tebing galian, kemiringan tebing galian, relief dasar
galian, tutupan vegetasi, dan pengelolaan topsoil dan overburden parameter mengacu
KepMen LH No. 43 Tahun 1996. Parameter tersebut dilakukan pengukuran langsung
dilapangan dan hasilnya dievaluasi untuk mengetahui tingkat kerusakan lahan. Hasil
evaluasi tersebut dijadikan bahan untuk merancang arahan reklamasi di daerah
penelitian.
Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran dan evaluasi tiap parameter kerusakan lahan
didapatkan hasil bahwa tingkat kerusakan lahan yang terjadi pada daerah penelitian
telah mencapai tingkat kerusakan rusak berat, sehingga kegiatan reklamasi yang
dilakukan yaitu penataan lahan dan revegetasi. Penataan lahan dilakukan dengan
pembuatan teras dengan tiap terasnya memiliki tinggi 2 meter dengan lebar 6 meter
dan kemiringan lereng 45o dengan back slope 1o-2o, juga pembuatan saluran SPA
berbentuk trapesium. Revegetasi dengan penanaman pohon sengon dengan jarak
tanam 4 x 4 m dengan sistem pot berdimensi 0,3 x 0,3 x 0,3 m.

ABSTRACT
Mining activities in this research area have been running since 2014. Mining
activities carried out by the surrounding community have cause changes in the shape
of the landscape in the study area, that resulting in land degradation so that land
quality and land productivity decreased. This study aims to analyze the level of land
damage caused by sand and gravel mining activities and to design reclamation
directions in the research area to become a Sengon industrial plantation area.
The methods used in this research are observation and mapping methods,
laboratory test analysis and descriptive analysis. The parameters of land damage used
are the excavation wall height, the slope of the excavated cliffs, the relief of the
excavation base, vegetation cover, and top soil and overburden management,
parameter refers to KepMen LH No. 43 Tahun 1996. These parameters were
measured directly in the field and the results were evaluated to determine the level of
land damage. The results of the evaluation are used as material for designing
reclamation directions in the research area.
Based on the results of measurements and evaluations of each parameter of land
damage, it was found that the level of land damage that occurred in the research area
had reached the level of severe damage, so that the reclamation activities carried out
are land management and revegetation. Land arrangement is done by making terraces
with each terrace having a height of 2 meters with a width of 6 meters and a slope of
45o with a back slope of 1o - 2o, also the manufacture of trapezoidal SPA channels.
Revegetation by planting sengon trees with a spacing of 4 x 4 m with a pot system with
dimensions of 0,3 x 0,3 x 0,3 m.
