ANALISA PETROFISIKA DI LAPANGAN “AURORA”, CEKUNGAN JAWA
TIMUR UTARA

Minyak dan gas merupakan salah satu sumber daya alam di Indonesia yang
melimpah. Salah satu lokasi yang potensial untuk minyak dan gas berada di
Lapangan “Aurora”, Cekungan Jawa Timur Utara dengan Formasi Tuban dan
Formasi Kujung 1 yang memiliki litologi batuan berupa limestone. Penelitian ini
dianalisa dengan menggunakan analisa petrofisika untuk menentukan pay summary
untuk mengetahui ketebalan bersih dari reservoir.
Sebelum diketahuinya pay summary perlu diketahui terlebih dahulu zona
reservoir yang ada pada daerah penelitian. Pay summary sendiri didapatkan melalui
parameter petrofisika seperti volume shale, porositas, saturasi air, dan
permeabilitas. Parameter petrofisika tersebut diketahui melalui data well logging
yaitu log gamma ray, log resistivitas, log densitas dan log neutron. Dalam
mendapatkan parameter petrofisika ini juga digunakan metode Archie karena
daerah penelitian yang berada di daerah penelitian clean dan data penelitian
menunjukkan adanya data yang sesuai dengan persamaan Archie. Kemudian dapat
diketahui reservoir cut-off untuk mengetahui batas pada suatu nilai parameter
petrofisika sehingga pay summary dapat diketahui.
Hasil dari zona reservoir pada Lapangan “Aurora” berada pada Formasi
Tuban (Sumur ARB-21) dan Formasi Kujung 1 (seluruh sumur) dengan reservoir
yang diketahui gas, minyak dan air. Hasil volume shale diketahui sebesar 0.7%
hingga 11%, hasil porositas berada di antara 13% dan 25%, hasil saturasi air
diketahui sebesar 26% hingga 72%, dan hasil permeabilitas diketahui sebesar 1.29
mD hingga 3466.2 mD. Dapat disimpulkan, sumur ARA-1 merupakan sumur
dengan potensi terbaik karena menunjukkan potensi hidrokarbon sebesar 75,3%
dan net pay memiliki ketebalan sebesar 235,7 ft.

Oil and gas are one of Indonesia's abundant natural resources. One of the
potential locations for oil and gas is the “Aurora” Field, North East Java Basin
including the Tuban and Kujung 1 Formation which has limestone lithology. This
research is interpreted by using petrophysical analysis to determine the pay
summary to determine the net thickness of the reservoir. The use of pay summary
itself to determine oil and gas reserves.
The important thing in pay summary is knowing the reservoir zones in the
research area. Pay summary is obtained through petrophysical parameters such as
shale volume, porosity, water saturation, and permeability. The petrophysical
parameters are known through well logging data, namely gamma ray logs,
resistivity logs, density logs and neutron logs. Archie method is used in this research
because the research area is clean and it is suitable to the data. Then, reservoir cutoff can be known to determine the limit by using a petrophysical parameters value
and finally the pay summary can be known.
Based on the result, it is known that reservoir contain of gas, oil and water. It
is also known that the value of shale volume is between 0.7% to 11%, the porosity
ranging from 13% and 25%, the water saturation coming from 26% to 72%, and the
permeability value ranging from 1.29 mD to 3466.2 mD. So, it is concluded tha the
ARA-1 well has good potential in this area with net pay thickness is about 235.7 ft
and 75.3% possibilities of hydrocarbon.
