ABSTRAK
Bougenville mempunyai prospek bisnis yang sangat baik dan mempunyai nilai
komersial yang tinggi. Untuk dapat meningkatkan keberhasilan dalam
memperbanyak bougenville secara teknik stek, digunakan hormon yang dapat
mempercepat pertumbuhan akar tanaman yaitu zat pengatur tumbuh dengan
berbagai jenis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh berbagai zat
pengatur tumbuh terhadap pertumbuhan stek batang bougenville dan mengkaji zat
pengatur tumbuh yang terbaik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai
dengan Mei 2021 di Kebun Praktek Wedomartani Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas
Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Yogyakarta. Jenis tanah yang digunakan adalah
tanah regosol dengan ketinggian tempat sekitar 109 meter di atas permukaan laut.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan percobaan menggunakan
Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) satu faktor yaitu dengan berbagai zat pengatur
tumbuh. Zat pengatur tumbuh terdiri atas air murni, IBA konsentrasi 100 ppm,
campuran IBA + NAA konsentrasi 200 ppm dan air kelapa muda 100%. Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian zat pengatur tumbuh berpengaruh
terhadap pertumbuhan stek bougenville dan pemberian zat pengatur tumbuh
campuran IBA + NAA konsentrasi 200 ppm mampu menunjukkan hasil yang baik
pada parameter umur tumbuh tunas, jumlah daun, bobot segar daun, bobot kering
daun, panjang akar dan volume akar pada stek bougenville.

EFFECT OF VARIOUS GROWTH REGULATORY SUBSTANCES
ON THE EARLY GROWTH OF BOUGENVILLE CUTTINGS

ABSTRACT
Bougenville has excellent business prospects and has high commercial value. To be
able to increase the success in multiplying bougainvillea by cuttings technique,
hormones that can accelerate the growth of plant roots are used, namely growth
regulators of various types. This study aims to examine the effect of various growth
regulators on the growth of bougainvillea stem cuttings and to examine the best
growth regulators. This research was conducted from March to May 2021 at the
Wedomartani Practical Garden, Faculty of Agriculture, National Development
University "Veteran" Yogyakarta. The type of soil used is regosol soil with an
altitude of about 109 meters above sea level. The research method used is an
experimental design using a completely randomized design (CRD) with one factor,
namely with various growth regulators. Completely Randomized Design (CRD)

of pure water, 100 ppm concentration of IBA, a mixture of 200 ppm concentration
of IBA + NAA and 100% young coconut water. The results showed that the
administration of growth regulators had an effect on the growth of bougenville
cuttings and the administration of a mixed growth regulator of IBA + NAA
concentration of 200 ppm was able to show good results on the parameters of shoot
growth age, number of leaves, leaf fresh weight, leaf dry weight, root length and
root volume on bougainvillea cuttings.
