dikarenakan perempuan mengalami berbagai jenis kekerasan, sehingga gambaran
kekerasan berbasis gender. UNSCR 1325 on Women, Peace, and Security merupakan
ABSTRACT
In the terms of armed conflict, women are the ones in the vulnerable place. This
happens due to the violence they experience during the conflict, thus the representation
on her is limited as the victims. Moreover, they also rarely take part in the resolution
and peace process. This is what happened in the Colombian armed conflict. Conflict
between the Government and FARC that has lasted more than 50 years has impacted
in many women being the victims of gender-based violence. UNSCR 1325 on Women,
Peace, and Security is a resolution issued by United Nations that discussed about
women in conflict situation, especially the importance of their role during the peacetalks and the peace-building. By using the descriptive method, this study will describe
on how the pillars of UNSCR 1325 were implemented in Colombian conflict peace
process which took place from 2012 to 2020, along with the final agreement that has
been reached.
