Abstract
Wedomartani Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Pembagunan Nasional “Veteran”
Yogyakarta.
yaitu Z1 (IBA 50 ppm), Z2 (IBA 100 ppm), Z3 (IBA 150 ppm), Z4 (NAA 50 ppm),
Z5 (NAA 100 ppm) dan Z6 (NAA 150 ppm). Data dianalisis keragamannya
kering akar.

STEM CUTTINGS ON SUBSTANCE GIVING AUXIN GROWTH
REGULATOR

ABSTRACT
Dragon fruit cultivation in Indonesia often experiences obstacles, including the
unavailability of quality seeds at planting. This problem can be overcome by
vegetative propagation of plants by stem cuttings. The success of cuttings is
influenced by various factors including growth regulators. This study aims to
determine the response of auxin growth regulators and determine the best
concentration of auxin growth regulators to increase the growth of red dragon fruit
stem cuttings. This research was conducted from January 2021 to March 2021 at
the Wedomartani Practical Garden, Faculty of Agriculture, National Development
University "Veteran" Yogyakarta. This study used an environmental experiment
method in a greenhouse using a completely randomized design (CRD) with one
factor, namely the administration of a concentration of auxin growth regulator
which consisted of 6 treatments, namely Z1 (IBA 50 ppm), Z2 (IBA 100 ppm), Z3
(IBA 150 ppm), Z4 (NAA 50 ppm), Z5 (NAA 100 ppm) and Z6 (NAA 150 ppm).
The data was analyzed for diversity using the Analysis of Variance Test (ANOVA)
at the 5% level and further tested using Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at
the 5% level. The results showed that the administration of the growth regulator
auxin had a significant effect on branch length at 4 WAP, root length and root dry
weight.
