Abstract

Indonesia merupakan daerah dengan sumber daya alam yang melimpah, salah
satunya adalah kekayaan mineral. Untuk dapat memanfaatkan sumber daya mineral
tersebut, tentunya diperlukan kegiatan eksplorasi geofisika untuk mengetahui
lokasi keberadaan sumber daya mineral tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
mengetahui potensi dan persebaran mineral logam di daerah Banten berdasarkan
metode geofisika.
Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode geolistrik IP
dengan konfigurasi dipole-diople, karena memiliki sensitivitas lateral yang baik
sehingga cocok digunakan dalam identifikasi target yang memiliki kontras lateral.
Penelitian ini menggunakan 10 lintasan dengan arah orientasi baratdaya-timurlaut,
dan spasi elektroda sejauh 25 meter.
Penampang resistivitas dapat mengidentifikasi keberadaan batuan andesit
dengan baik. Batuan andesit tersebut terlihat memiliki nilai resistivitas antara 70
sampai 650 om.m. Penampang IP-PFE dapat mengidentifikasi keberadaan mineral
logam dengan baik. Mineral logam pada daerah penelitian memiliki nilai PFE
antara 14% sampai 25%.
Korelasi penampang 2D resistivitas memperlihatkan 3 kemenerusan batuan
beku andesit, yaitu Kemenerusan (A) memiliki nilai resistivitas antara 70 sampai
200 ohm.m dan memiliki nilai PFE antara 14% sampai 25%, Kemenerusan (B)
memiliki nilai resistivitas antara 90 sampai 330 ohm.m dan memiliki nilai PFE
antara 15% sampai 17%, dan Kemenerusan (C) memiliki nilai resistivitas antara 90
sampai 200 ohm.m. dan memiliki nilai PFE antara 15% sampai 18%. Berdasarkan
hasil interpretasi, diperkirakan zona mineralisasi pada daerah penelitian menyebar
dengan arah relatif barat laut - tenggara.

IDENTIFICATION OF MINERALIZATION DISTRIBUTION ZONE USING
INDUCED POLARIZATION METHOD AT FIELD “X” CIBALIUNG
BANTEN

Indonesia is an nation with abundant natural resources, one of which is
mineral resources. To be able to utilize these mineral resources, of course,
geophysical exploration activities are needed to find out the location of these
mineral resources. This research aims to determine the potential and distribution
of metallic minerals in the Banten region based on geophysical methods.
The method used in this study is the IP geoelectric method with a dipolediople configuration, because it has good lateral sensitivity so it is suitable to be
used in identifying targets that have lateral contrast. This research uses 10 lines
with a southwest-northeast orientation, and the electrode spacing is 25 meters.
The resistivity section can identify the presence of andesite rocks quite good.
The andesite rocks appear to have resistivity values between 70 to 330 om.m. IPPFE section can identify the presence of metallic minerals very well. Metallic
minerals in the study area have PFE values between 14% to 25%.
The 2D resistivity section correlation shows 3 continuity of andesite igneous
rocks, namely the continuity (A) has a PFE value between 14% to 25% and has a
resistivity value between 70 to 200 ohm.m, the continuity (B) has a PFE value
between 15% to 17% and has a resistivity value between 90 to 330 ohm.m, and
Continuity (C) has a PFE value between 15% to 18% and has a resistivity value
between 90 to 200 ohm.m. Based on the interpretation results, it is estimated that
the mineralization zone in the study area spreads in a relatively northwestsoutheast direction.
