Abstract

Abstract Semivariogram is a visualization of the geostatistical variance parameters, while fitting semivariogram is one of important factor in determining the effect of range or influence distance between sample points, which is in the mining industry useful for the estimation of mineral reserves. Based on calculation of gold grades distributions, obtained that the robust semivariogram method is better than the classical method. Range based on fitting (OLS and WLS) robust method also produces longer or better of distances influence. Nonetheless, implicitly, the robust semivariogram OLS fitting model is still better than WLS model. This applies to both the exponential and spherical models. Abstrak Semivariogram merupakan visualisasi parameter variance pada geostatistik, sedangkan fitting semivariogram adalah salah satu factor penting dalam penentuan range atau jarak pengaruh antar titik-titik sampel, yang di dalam industry pertambangan berguna dalam estimasi cadangan bahan galian. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan terhadap sebaran kadar emas ini diperoleh informasi bahwa semivariogram dengan metode robust lebih baik dibandingkan metode classical. Range berdasarkan fitting (OLS dan WLS) metode robust juga menghasilkan jarak pengaruh yang lebih panjang atau lebih baik. Meskipun demikian, secara implicit, metode robust fitting semivariogram model OLS lebih baik dibandingkan model WLS. Kejadian ini berlaku baik pada model exponential maupun spherical
