Abstract
University is a place that is a reflection of the face of education. This is because universities are able to produce high quality human resources. Higher education has the responsibility of pursuing the target for publication of scientific journals. These publications are the measure of research quality even as to the quality of teaching and devotion to the community. One measure of the research quality is the publication of that study in a scientific journal. The national journal level consists of ordinary journals and accredited national journals. Accredited journals have levels ranging from level 1 to level 6. The international journal level consists of ordinary international journals and global reputed international journal. In the international global reputation there is the journal quality clusterization with Quartile terms, with 4 quartile, Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4. The Q1 is the highest or most important cluster in terms of journal quality, followed by Q2, Q3 and Q4 below. The study aims to determine how much increase in publications in mining engineering and technical mining strategies the technology journal has developed as a platform that can be used for publication improvements. It will be developed into an accredited and indexed journal by Scopus which will enhance the quality of the journal. Keywords: Publication, Journal, Accredited, Mining Technology Journal.
