Abstract

This purpose of this observation is to measure and to analyze the influence of need for achievement, self af icacy, instrumental readiness, demographic, achievement of the academics and genre of the entrepreneurship intention in economic student. Survey towards 170 students from three department in economic faculty UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta shows that entrepreneurial intentions among the students and the influencing factors dif ers across department accounting, management and development of economic. Result reveals that self-ef icacy and instrumental readiness influence entrepreneurial intention among accounting, management and development of economic students. Self-ef icacy and instrumental readiness become keys factors that influence entrepreneurial intention among accounting, management and economic development students. Need for achievement, achievement of the academic, working experience, educational background becomes not influence entrepreneurial intention among economic students, in the opposite direction. However, self-ef icacy, instrumental readiness and academic have explain 41,5% – 47,1% (Adjusted R squares) of the total variance of the entrepreneurial intention for Accounting, Management and Development of Economic respectively. Thisstudy is expected to be inputs for faculties, universities,and policy makers so that can stimulate and encourage entrepreneurship spirit.
