Abstract
PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk pabrik Cilacap merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang pembuatan semen. Perusahaan ini memiliki tambang batugamping yang merupakan salah satu bahan baku utama pembuat semen. Lokasi penambangan batugamping berada di pulau Nusakambangan. Sistem penambangan batugamping ini menggunakan sitem tambang terbuka dengan metode kuari. Pada Kuari ini , terdapat tiga kolam pengendapan. Pada aliran awal terdapat kolam pengendapan (sediment pond) 1 yang kemudian mengalir menuju ke kolam pengendapan (sediment pond) 2, kemudian menuju ke kolam pengendapan utama (settling pond). Sumber air yang masuk ke lokasi tambang Kuari Batugamping hanya berasal dari air limpasan dan air hujan. Berdasarkan perhitungan curah hujan rencana adalah 147,9 mm/hari pada periode ulang hujan 2 tahunan. Intensitas curah hujan adalah 51,26 mm/jam. Daerah tangkapan hujan (DTH) dibagi menjadi 8. Debit masing-masing DTH, yaitu DTH 1 1,14 m3/detik; DTH 2 2,42 m3/detik, DTH 3 1,96 m3/detik; DTH 4 1,42 m3/detik; DTH 5 1,86 m3/detik; DTH 6 0,31; DTH 7 0,51 m3/detik, dan DTH 8 0,83 m3/detik. Dalam mengatasi jumlah air limpasan perlu adanya saluran yang mengalirkan air keluar lokasi tambang dengan pembuatan saluran terbuka. Metode saluran terbuka ini sudah digunakan di Kuari Batugamping ini, Namun dimensi saluran menurut perhitungan belum mampu menampung debit air limpasan yang masuk ke saluran-saluran tersebut. Terdapat 8 saluran terbuka di Kuari Batugamping. Saluran-saluran yang masuk ke kolam pengendapan 1, yaitu saluran 1, 2, 3, 4, dan 5. Sedangkan kolam pengendapan 2, sumber air berasal dari air luberan dari kolam pengendapan 1, saluran 6. Kolam pengendapan utama berasal dari saluran 7 dan DTH 8. Dalam perhitungan dimensi saluran 8 perlu diadakan penyesuaian ulang agar mencukupi untuk mengalirkan air. Sedangkan 3 kolam pengendapan hanya perlu dilakukan perawatan berkala, yaitu kolam pengendapan 1 setiap 239 hari, kolam pengendapan 2 setiap 822 hari, serta kolam pengendapan utama setiap 3798 hari. Masalah genangan air yang ada di jalan tambang berada di jalan masuk ke ke kuari IX lantai 1 karena tidak adanya saluran yang menghubungkan antara saluran 2 dengan saluran 3 yang ada diseberangnya yang melewati jalan tambang. Pemecahan masalahnya adalah dengan pembutan saluran terbuka kemudian diteruskan dengan saluran tertutup. Adanya usulan perbaikan teknis sistem penyaliran tambang ini diharapkan dapat membantu dalam pengendalian sistem penyaliran tambang di Kuari Batugamping PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk. PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk Cilacap plant is a company which has the business about manufacturing of cement . The company has a limestone quarry which is one of the main raw material of cement maker . Limestone mining site is in Nusakambangan Island. This limestone mining system uses open pit system which is quarry method. In Limestone Quarry PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk , there are three settling ponds . At the beginning there is a flow of settling ponds 1 ( sediment pond) which then flows to the settling pond 2 ( sediment pond ), then headed to the main settling pond ( settling pond ) . Sources of water which enter the mine site Limestone Quarry only comes from run off water and rain water . Based on the calculation result of rainfall, it obtains the plan rainfall is 147.9 mm/day which plans on 2 year return period rainfall . The intensity of rainfall is 51.26 mm / hour. Catchment area (DTH) is divided into 8. Debit of each DTH, DTH 1 is 1.14 m3/second; DTH 2 is 2.42 m3/second; DTH 3 is 1.96 m3/second; DTH 4 is 1.42 m3/second; DTH 5 is 1.86 m3/second; DTH 6 is 0.31 m3/second; DTH 7 is 0.51 m3/second; and DTH 8 is 0.83 m3/second. To overcome that run off, it is needed an effort to solve it. The effort is making an open channel. Open channel method has been used in Limestone Quarry, but according to the calculations of open channel dimensions have not been able to accommodate the flow of water runoff that goes into those channels . There are 8 open channels in Limestone Quarry. Open channels that go into settling ponds 1 , is Open channel 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , and 5 . While settling pond 2’s , source water comes from the water overflow from the settling ponds 1 and open channel 6 . Main settling pond derived from open channel 7 and DTH 8 . In calculating the dimensions of the channel 8 should be rebuilt in order to be sufficient to drain the water . While 3 settling ponds are just done regular maintenance needs, Settling pond 1is every 239 day, settling ponds 2 is every 822 day , as well as the main settling ponds every is every 3798 days . The puddle problem which exists in the mine way was in quarrying IX 1st floor street because there weren’t the connecting channel which connected between channel 2 to channel 3. That just passed the mine road. The solution is building a open channel then build a closed channel . Hopefully, this suggestion of mine drainage can be used as a reference to the company in overcoming and managing the rainwater and run off so that the quarry mining activity in Limestone Quarry will be optimal.
