Abstract
Indonesian Red Cross Blood Transfusion Unit in Yogyakarta City has the main task of fulfilling blood needs in Yogyakarta City by carrying out blood donor and distribution activities. The problem that occurs is that the inventory management is now based on managerial experience. The blood demand current is probabilistic, it causes at a certain time UTD PMI Yogyakarta City experiences excess or lack of blood that can affect blood freshness. The purpose of this study is to analyze the inventory system to minimize total inventory costs using a periodic review system and continous review system. The periodic review system and continous review system inventory model is used when the parameters of the inventory system cannot be known with certainty. One of the parameters of the inventory system is demand is probabilistic. The results of the approach using the probabilistic model show that the total storage cost with a continuous review approach produces a minimum cost of Rp 10,255,774,749.20 with the lowest service level for blood type A of 95.33% and the highest service level for blood type B of 100%. If compared with the management of UTD PMI Yogyakarta City, the total storage cost has a difference of Rp 4,588,674,201.00. Key Words: Packed red cell, blood stock, periodic review system, continous review system ABSTRAK Unit Transfusi Darah Palang Merah Indonesia Kota Yogyakarta memiliki tugas utama untuk mencukupi kebutuhan darah di Kota Yogyakarta dengan melakukan kegiatan donor darah serta pendistribusiannya. Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah manajemen persediaan yang diaplikasikan sekarang ini merupakan hasil dari pengalaman. Dengan adanya permintaan darah yang tidak diketahui secara pasti atau bersifat probabilistik mengakibatkan pada waktu tertentu UTD PMI Kota Yogyakarta mengalami kelebihan maupun kekurangan darah yang dapat mempengaruhi kesegaran darah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisa sistem persediaan untuk meminimalkan total biaya persediaan dengan metode periodic review system dan continous review system. Model persediaan ini digunakan ketika parameter-parameter dari sistem persediaan tidak dapat diketahui dengan pasti. Parameter-parameter dari sistem persediaan salah satunya adalah permintaan yang tidak dapat diketahui secara pasti. Hasil pendekatan menggunakan model probabilistik menunjukan bahwa total biaya penyimpanan dengan pendekatan continous review menghasilkan biaya minimum sebesar Rp 10.255.774.749,20 dengan service level terendah untuk golongan darah A sebesar 95,33% dan service level tertinggi untuk golongan darah B sebesar 100%. JIka dibandingkan dengan manajemen UTD PMI Kota Yogyakarta, total biaya penyimpanan tersebut memiliki selisih sebesar Rp 4.588.674.201,00.
