Abstract

ABSTRACT In the presence of sandstone mining in Kembangsongo Hamlet, Trimulyo Village, Jetis Subdistrict becomes the commodity of choice which does not require complicated and easily marketable mining technology to be the cause of small scale mining activities. The mining activity lasted for more than 10 years without mine planning and good environmental management, causing land damage. This study the exisiting land condition and make reclamation plans that are in accordance with the location of the study. The research method used to determine the appropriate technical reclamation in the study area is by field survey, mapping, scoring, interviewing and data analysis. The parameters refer to the Governor Regulation of the Special Region of Yogyakarta No. 63 of 2003, which was measured in the mining area, namely the height of the excavation wall, the excavation slope boundary, the excavation depth limit from the initial soil, road conditions, excavation boundaries, and vegetation cover. Parameters in the analysis of soil quality in the laboratory include pH (H2O), organic C, N-total, K2O-total, available P2O5. The results of soil quality analysis are needed in order to determine the type of plant to be used for the reclamation stage. Determination of technical reclamation in accordance with the level of land damage and environmental tone(RTRW) Bantul regency. The results of the study show that there are impacts that occur in the study area by mining activities. The management of parameters have changed and affected has been adjusted with the RTRW of study area. Reclamation directed at mining area as holticulture area, which can be utilized and improve the economy of the community around the mining area. The former mining land will be made flat with residential park, The making of terracing planned in mining activities at the research location is a height of 2 meters, a width of 4 meters.
