Abstract
SUMMARY PT Harmak Indonesia is a company engaged in the field of rock mining namely andesite, which is located in Hargowilis Village, Kokap District, Kulon Progo Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The mining system used is an open mining system (quarry) with an open cast mining method. Mining activities have been going on from 2013 to 2018. Problems that arise when mining takes place and when mining activities stop. PT Harmak Indonesia has not conducted reclamation activities as planned. As a result, the mine cleared land becomes arid and erosion occurs and there is a pool of runoff during the rainy season. This can result in losses for citizens and companies. The purpose of the research conducted is to assess the non-implementation of reclamation that should be done by the company, assess the environmental damage, calculate the level of erosion hazard and make reclamation planning from the current state of the mine openings. The research method used is to analyze the company's reclamation plan, assess land damage and plan the current land use planning. The current IUP area is 21.5 Ha with a mine opening area of 3.43 Ha. After this land use plan is obtained, this land use plan will be input for companies to carry out land reclamation and land use planning activities. The land planning plan is by the bench terrace method, making planting holes with planting holes 1x1 m wide and the distance between holes is 3 m and planting cover crops namely elephant grass and perennials in the form of sea sengon plants. Dimensions of the mine slope are made with a height of 2 m and a slope of 320. Before land use planning and reclamation, the level of erosion hazard that occurs on mine openings is class III, which is included in the medium category. After reclamation planning, land rearrangement, open channel construction and planting of reclamation plants, the level of erosion hazard that occurs can be reduced to class I, which is very light
