Abstract
The mining activity of clay in Pare Dua Hamlet resulted in land damage caused by the mining activities of people conducted without good planning and safety of miners awareness.This research aims to determine the level of land damage and make appropriate reclamation planning in Pare Dua Hamlet, Sidorejo village, Godean District, Sleman Regency, Special region of Yogyakarta. The research method used to obtain the level of environmental damage is with surveys, mapping, data analysis with the use of parameters for the damage of land is the boundary of the field, the relief of the ground, slope of the excavated cliffiffs, high-ceiling walls, road conditions, and vegetation cover.The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The results showed that the extent of damage to the mining area in Pare Dua Hamlet, Sidorejo Village, belongs to the damaged category of 6 examined parameters.The land shape on the research area is hill. Management instructions in the form of modeling the terrace with a wide-level terrace of 6 meters and the height of the terrace wall 3 meters tall, to strengthen the stability of the slope carried out vegetation planting with a pot system/hole, vegetation planted is Corn and eggplant with elephant grass crop as land cover crops.And the making of trenches and SPA to reduce the flow of water that can cause erosion.
