Abstract
Bioactivity of the extracts of goat weed (Ageratum conyzoides) leaves and sword grass (lmperata cilindrica) rhizomes on mortality and development of Plutella xylostella was studied using choice and non choice test under laboratory experiment with a single factor completely randomized design (CRD). The treatments consist of: sword grass rhizome and goat weed leave extract concentration of 20%, 40%, 60%, and the mixture of both of them with the ratio 1:1 v/v and deltametrin 0.0625% EC. The results show that sword grass rhizome and goat weed leave extract can be used as a control agent for Plutella xylostella larvae. The mixture extracts did not exhibit sinergism. Extract concentration of 20% have had the same ability with deltametrin and can be used to substitute synthetic insecticide.
