Abstract

PT Feron Tambang Kalimantan merupakan salah satu perusahaan tambang bijih besi (hematite) yang terletak di Kabupaten Kotawaringin Timur, Kalimantan Tengah. Kegiatan penambangan menggunakan sistem tambang terbuka (Surface Mining) dengan metode penambangan open cut. Target produksi penambangan bijih besi sebesar 5.000 ton/hari. Waktu kerja yang tersedia 830 menit/hari. Waktu kerja efektif backhoe Hitachi Zaxis-330 adalah 628 menit/hari (76%) dan waktu kerja efektif dumptruk Hino FM 260 JD adalah 550 menit/hari (66%). Kegiatan produksi 2 alat muat backhoe Hitachi Zaxis-330 sebesar 10.493 ton/hari sedangkan jumlah produksi 29 unit alat angkut dumptruck Hino FM 260 JD sebesar 4.064 ton/hari. Keserasian alat antara 2 alat muat dan 29 alat angkut dari 0,505. Waktu tunggu alat muat backhoe Hitachi Zaxis-330 1,859 menit. Pencapaian target produksi dilakukan dengan cara memperbaiki waktu edar alat angkut, beban muatan alat angkut, waktu kerja efektif dan penambahan alat angkut. Perbaikan waktu edar untuk alat angkut dalam sekali pengangkutan dari yang mulanya 54,42 menit menjadi 49,02 menit. Pengurangan beban muatan yang awalnya 6 bucket menjadi 5 bucket. Peningkatan waktu kerja efektif dan efisiensi alat angkut yang mulanya 550,65 menit /hari (66%) menjadi 587,15 menit/hari (71%). Penambahan unit alat angkut yaitu 5 unit menjadi 34 unit. Produksi mengalami kenaikan dari 4.275 ton/hari menjadi 5.012 ton/hari. Target produksi PT Feron Tambang Kalimantan sebesar 5.000 ton/hari sudah tercapai. Keserasian alat antara alat muat dan alat angkut mengalami perubahan dikarenakan adanya penambahan alat angkut dan pengurangan beban muatan pada alat angkut Keserasian alat antara 2 alat muat dan 34 alat angkut dari 0,505 menjadi 0,55. Sedangkan waktu tunggu alat muat yang semula 1,859 menit menjadi 1,305 menit. PT Feron Tambang Kalimantan is one of the companies mining iron ore (hematite). The production of 29 units of dumptruck Hino FM 260 JD is 4,064 tons/day. Match Factor between 2 units of backhoe and 29 units of dumptruck is 0.505. The waiting time backhoe is 1.859 minutes. Production target by improving the circulation time of dumptruck, load the charge dumptruck, effective working time and the addition of dumptruck.
