Abstract
Administravitely location that is in the area of Regional Parangtritis, Bantul Regency of Yogyakrta Special Region. In WGS 84 UTM coordinates that are in the 49s zone 424800-429200 mE and 9113000-9118000 mN. Parangtritis consists of 2 formations that are Nglanggran and Wonosari Formation. Nglanggran Formation consists of 4 units that are basalt lava, volcanic breccia, andesite lava, and andesite intrution. Wonosari Limestone consists of boundstone, wackestone, and crystaline carbonate. The youngest unit consists of aluvial and sand dune. The establishment of Tertiary volcanic Parangtritis is effected from magmatism activity at Java Island in Oligocen – Miocen. The establisment of tertiary volcanic Parangtritis is occured at continental plate detailed at orogenesa phase.
