Abstract
Lapangan Melayu terletak di Cekungan Sumatera Tengah, merupakan salah satu lapangan penghasil minyak yang di operasikan oleh PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia. Lapangan Melayu terletak sekitar 70 km ke arah barat laut dari Kota Pekanbaru, ibukota Provinsi Riau. Berdasarkan hasil interpretasi lingkungan pengendapan didapatkan bahwa Kelompok Sihapas merupakan tide dominated delta dengan fasies pengendapan antara lain channel, tidal channel,tidal mud flat, tidal ridge, delta front, dan prodelta. Dari interpretasi korelasi sikuen stratigrafi didapatkan 4 sikuen. Hasil interpretasi system tract didapatkan berdasarkan ciri fasies pengendapan, log pattern dan biostratigrafi. Dimana berdasarkan umur yang terdapat pada data biostratigrafi, maka orde penelitian berada pada orde 3 yang dipengaruhi oleh eustasy (perubahan muka air laut). Model paleogeografi dibuat berdasarkan pembagian system tract dalam bentuk 2 dimensi dan 3 dimensi sehingga didapatkan LST 1 (Channel), TST 1 (pro delta delta front, dan tidal ridge). HST 1 (delta front dan pro delta). LST 2 (tidal channel). TST 2 (delta front dan pro delta). HST 2 (delta front). LST 3 (tidal ridge). TST 3 (delta front dan pro delta). HST 3 (delta front). LST 4 (tidal ridge). TST 4 (delta front dan prodelta) Kata Kunci : Lapangan Melayu, Tide Dominated Delta, Sikuen Stratigrafi, Paleogeograf The located of Melayu Field in Central Sumatera Basin, one of the prospect oil field that operated by PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia. The located of Melayu Field about 70 km to Northwest from Pekanbaru, capital city of Riau province. Based on the interpretation results of depositional environmental that Sihapas Group is tide dominated delta with environmental facies channel, tidal channel,tidal mud flat, tidal ridge, delta front, dan prodelta. Sequence stratigraphy correlation found four sequence. The interpretation results of system tract found based on characteristic of environmental facies, log pattern and biostratigraphy. Where by age contained in the data biostratigraphy, then order the research is on the order of three who is affected by eustasy (changes in sea level). Paleogeography models made based on classification of system tract in form 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional and produced LST 1 (Channel), TST 1 (pro delta delta front, dan tidal ridge).
