Abstract
Pit Batu Hijau merupakan proyek penambangan tembaga dan emas milik PT. Newmont Nusa Tenggara. Proyek ini berlokasi di Kecamatan Jereweh, Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat, Propinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat. Di Pit Batu Hijau, sumber air yang masuk ke dalam tambang berasal dari air hujan yang langsung masuk ke bukaan tambang dan air limpasan dari daerah tangkapan hujan di sekitar bukaan tambang. Pada saat ini belum ada rancangan saluran terbuka yang mendukung pada Pit Batu Hijau. Berdasarkan analisis data curah hujan tahun 2003 – 2012, diperoleh curah hujan rencana adalah 151,74 mm/hari, intensitas curah hujan sebesar 52,60 mm/jam dengan periode ulang hujan 2 tahun, dan resiko hidrologi sebesar 99,99 %. Daerah Tangkapan Hujan (DTH) di pit Batu Hijau dibagi menjadi sebelas area, Luas dari masing-masing DTH yaitu : - CA 1 = 0,47 km2, - CA 7 = 0,28 km2, - CA 2 = 0,40 km2, - CA 8 = 0,11 km2, - CA 3 = 0,48 km2, - CA 9 = 0,15 km2, - CA 4 = 0,11 km2, - CA 10 = 0,05 km2, - CA 5 = 0,21 km2, - CA 11 = 0,41 km2. - CA 6 = 0,61 km2, Debit air limpasan pada tiap DTH yaitu : - CA 1 = 6,18 m3/detik, - CA 7 = 3,68 m3/detik, - CA 2 = 5,26 m3/detik, - CA 8 = 1,44 m3/detik, - CA 3 = 6,31 m3/detik, - CA 9 = 1,97 m3/detik, - CA 4 = 1,44 m3/detik, - CA 10 = 6,5 m3/detik, - CA 5 = 2,76 m3/detik, - CA 11 = 5,39 m3/detik. - CA 6 = 8,02 m3/detik, Untuk meminimalkan air tidak masuk ke area jalan tambang maka dibuatlah saluran terbuka di setiap toe ramp. Dimensi tiap saluran yaitu : - Saluran 1 : a = 1,7 m, b = 1,7 m, B = 3,4 m, h = 1,7 m, - Saluran 2 : a = 1,3 m, b = 1,3 m, B = 2,6 m, h = 1,3 m, - Saluran 3 : a = 1,9 m, b = 1,9 m, B = 3,9 m, h = 1,9 m, - Saluran 4 : a = 0,2 m, b = 0,2 m, B = 0,4 m, h = 0,2 m, - Saluran 5 : a = 0,6 m, b = 0,6 m, B = 1,3 m, h = 0,6 m, - Saluran 6 : a = 2,1 m, b = 2,1 m, B = 4,2 m, h = 2,1 m, - Saluran 7 : a = 0,8 m, b = 0,8 m, B = 1,7 m, h = 0,8 m, - Saluran 8 : a = 0,2 m, b = 0,2 m, B = 0,4 m, h = 0,2 m, - Saluran 9 : a = 0,4 m, b = 0,4 m, B = 0,8 m, h = 0,4 m. Pembuatan sumuran cadangan didasarkan pada jumlah debit air tambang yang masuk ke bukaan tambang. Dimensi masing-masing sumuran cadangan yaitu : - Sumuran 150 mRL : p.p.= 22 m, l.p.= 12 m, p.d.= 16 m, l.d.= 6 m, h = 5, - Sumuran 90 mRL : p.p.= 21 m, l.p.= 12 m, p.d.= 15 m, l.d.= 6 m, h = 5. Selanjutnya air yang telah masuk ke dalam sumuran dipompa menuju ke kolam pengendapan. Pompa yang dibutuhkan adalah sebanyak 3 pompa yaitu Multiflo MF420 dengan menggunakan operating speed 800 rpm-1000 rpm. Batu Hijau Pit copper and gold mining project is owned by PT.Newmont Nusa Tenggara. The project is located in Jereweh District, West Sumbawa Regency, Nusa Tenggara Barat Province. In the Batu Hijau Pit, source of water that enters the mine is generally derived from the direct rain water into pit and runoff from rain catchment area around the pit. At this time there are no open channel design that support in Batu Hijau Pit. Based on the analysis of rainfall data of 2003-2012 years, the plan rainfall is 151,74 mm/day, the intensity of rainfall is 52,60 mm/hour with a 2 year return period rainfall and 99,99 % of hydrological risks. Catchment Area (DTH) at Batu Hijau Pit divide into eleven area, widely from each the DTH are : - CA 1 = 0,47 km2, - CA 7 = 0,28 km2, - CA 2 = 0,40 km2, - CA 8 = 0,11 km2, - CA 3 = 0,48 km2, - CA 9 = 0,15 km2, - CA 4 = 0,11 km2, - CA 10 = 0,05 km2, - CA 5 = 0,21 km2, - CA 11 = 0,41 km2. - CA 6 = 0,61 km2, Water runoff discharge on every DTH are : - CA 1 = 6,18 m3/sec, - CA 7 = 3,68 m3/sec, - CA 2 = 5,26 m3/sec, - CA 8 = 1,44 m3/sec, - CA 3 = 6,31 m3/sec, - CA 9 = 1,97 m3/sec, - CA 4 = 1,44 m3/sec, - CA 10 = 6,5 m3/sec, - CA 5 = 2,76 m3/sec, - CA 11 = 5,39 m3/sec. - CA 6 = 8,02 m3/sec, To minimize that water does not enter into pit ramp so will make a open channels created around the toe pit. Dimensions of each open channels are: - Channel 1 : a = 1,7 m, b = 1,7 m, B = 3,4 m, h = 1,7 m, - Channel 2 : a = 1,3 m, b = 1,3 m, B = 2,6 m, h = 1,3 m, - Channel 3 : a = 1,9 m, b = 1,9 m, B = 3,9 m, h = 1,9 m, - Channel 4 : a = 0,2 m, b = 0,2 m, B = 0,4 m, h = 0,2 m, - Channel 5 : a = 0,6 m, b = 0,6 m, B = 1,3 m, h = 0,6 m, - Channel 6 : a = 2,1 m, b = 2,1 m, B = 4,2 m, h = 2,1 m, - Channel 7 : a = 0,8 m, b = 0,8 m, B = 1,7 m, h = 0,8 m, - Channel 8 : a = 0,2 m, b = 0,2 m, B = 0,4 m, h = 0,2 m, - Channel 9 : a = 0,4 m, b = 0,4 m, B = 0,8 m, h = 0,4 m Sump constructed based on the amount of mine water discharges into the open pit. Dimension of each sump are : - Sump 150 mRL : p.p.= 22 m, l.p.= 12 m, p.d.= 16 m, l.d.= 6 m, h = 5, - Sump 90 mRL : p.p.= 21 m, l.p.= 12 m, p.d.= 15 m, l.d.= 6 m, h = 5. Further, water pumped into the sediment water pond. For that action needed 10 pieces of pump is branded by Multiflo MF420 with using operating speed 800 rpm-1000 rpm.
