Abstract
Penelitian bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pertimbangan pasar kerja, penghargaan finansial, pengakuan profesional, pelatihan profesional dan lingkungan keluarga terhadap minat mahasiswa menjadi akuntan publik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa akuntansi UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta sebanyak 207 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin, dan diperoleh sampel sebanyak 140 sampel. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan software IBM SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial pertimbangan pasar kerja, penghargaan finansial, pelatihan profesional dan lingkungan keluarga berpengaruh terhadap minat mahasiswa menjadi akuntan publik sedangkan variabel pengakuan profesional tidak berpengaruh terhadap minat mahasiawa menjadi akuntan publik. Kata kunci: minat mahasiswa menjadi akuntan publik, pertimbangan pasar kerja, penghargaan finansial, pengakuan profesional, pelatihan profesional, lingkungan keluarga. ABSTRACT The study aims to examine the effect of labor market considerations, financial rewards, professional recognition, professional training and family environment on the interest of students in becoming public accountants. The population in this study is accounting students of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta consist 207 people. The sampling technique is using purposive sampling technique and using the Slovin formula, and obtained a sample of 140 samples. The analysis of data using multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS version 25. The results showed that partial consideration of labor markets, financial awards, professional training and family environment influences students were influenced students interest in becoming public accountants. In other hand, the professional recognition does no affect students’ interest in becoming public accountants.
