Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the affect employee performance who is influenced by work ability and work safety with environment awareness behavior as intervening variabel of PT. GEO PERSADA. This research is important to do to employees of the production department because as operational staff must have a sense of environment awareness, so that they can avoid the risk of workplace accidents and increase awareness to take care for the environment. Respondents in this study are all employee of production division in mining as much 39 employees. This research is a quantitative research by using questionnaires. The analytical tool used for hypothesis testing is Partial Least Square (PLS) and Sobel Test. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive significant direct influence between work ability and work safety on employee performance; and the existence of a positivesignificant indirect effect between work ability and work safety on employee performance is mediated by the environment awareness behavior with a result of p ≤ 0.05.
