Abstract
ABSTRACT
The rise of drinking water demand is not followed by the raw water supply, such as
surface water, rainwater, and groundwater which are caused by the development and land-use
change that usually ignore the preservation of the surrounding ecosystem. The purpose of this
research is to know about the groundwater quality as a result of seawater intrusion at
Genuksari Village, Genuk District, Semarang City, Central Java Province and to know the
spread of seawater in unconfined aquifer.
The determination of sampling point location uses purposive sampling method which
is based on flow net map. The parameters that are used to measure the groundwater quality are
TDS, TSS, DHL, pH, Chloride, and Sodium. The result of this research is adjusted to the
standard quality of The Minister of Health Regulation No. 492 Year 2010 regarding The
Requirements for Drinking Water Quality.
Based on DHL and TDS parameters, there are 2 zones in this research area such as
prone zone which has been intruded by seawater and safety zone which has not been intruded
by seawater. Based on Chloride, pH, and Sodium parameters, it has not passed The Minister of
Health Regulation No. 492 Year 2010 regarding The Requirements for Drinking Water
Quality.

INTISARI
Peningkatan kebutuhan air minum tidak diiringi dengan ketersediaan air baku baik air
permukaaan, air hujan, maupun air tanah yang diakibatkan oleh pembangunan dan perubahan
tata guna lahan yang sering mengabaikan atau mempertimbangkan kelestarian ekosistem di
sekitarnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas air tanah akib at adanya
intrusi air laut di Desa Genuksari, Kecamatan Genuk, Kota Semarang, Provinsi Jawa Tengah
dan mengetahui persebaran air laut pada akuifer air tanah bebas.
Penentuan lokasi titik sampling menggunakan metode purposive sampling berdasarkan
peta aliran air tanah. Parameter yang digunakan untuk menentukan kualitas air tanah adalah
TDS, DHL, pH, Khlorida, dan Natrium. Hasil penelitian kualitas air tanah be bas disesuaikan
dengan baku mutu Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan No. 492 Tahun 2010 Tentang Persyaratan
Kualitas Air Minum.
Berdasarkan parameter DHL dan TDS di daerah penelitian terdapat 2 zona yaitu zona
rawan dimana telah terintrusi oleh air laut dan zona aman yakni belum terintrusi oleh air laut.
Berdasarkan parameter Khlorida, pH dan Natrium belum melampaui Peraturan Menteri
Kesehatan No. 492 Tahun 2010 Tentang Persayaratan Kualitas Air MInum.
