Abstract

Kata Kunci : Sumberdaya, Tonase, Strike, Dip, Cross Section Resource assessment obtained through calculation and analysis of exploration data that have been obtained in the form of data drilling, strike, dip, and thickness of coal. Resource assessment conducted in order to determine the estimated amount of coal resource tonnage. Study site is located in Palaran with the concession area covering 38 hectares, located in Samarinda regency, Kalimantan Timur province. The purpose of this research is to apply the method of Cross Section in determining the amount of coal resources and estimating the amount of coal resources in the study area. The method used in this study is the observation in the field, while the resource estimation methods used method by comparing the cross section between the gradual changes method to the nearest point method. The results are expected to determine the tonnage of coal seam A. At the study site with a detailed exploration has been carried out test drilling and geological conditions at the study site including simple as well as information point distance less than 500 m, the coal in the study site is classified as a Measured Coal Resource based on the classification of the Indonesian National Standard (SNI ) AMENDMENT 1-SNI 13-5014-1998. Conclusions obtained by using the method of Cross Section with gradual changes, performed by connecting cross-section of the other, in order to obtain Measured Resource seam A is 1.262.262,829 tons. Methods Cross Section with the nearest point covering a cross section of the boundary line by half the distance between the cross-section, in order to obtain Measured Resource seam A is 1.287.869,863 tons. Key Words: Resource, Tonnage, Strike, Dip, Cross Section, Stripping Ratio
