Abstract

Daerah penelitian terletak di Lapangan Panasbumi Karaha Bodas,.Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, Provinsi Jawa Barat. Secara geografis terletak pada koordinat x : 176000 – 181000 dan y : 9210000 – 9205000 dengan luas daerah penelitian 5x5 km2. Lokasi penelitian berada pada sumur KRH X dengan kedalaman sumur 2500 mKU. Metode penelitian adalah dengan analisis petrografi sayatan tipis dan analisis X – Ray Diffraction (XRD) pada sampel batuan hasil pemboran (cutting) dan batuan inti (core), kemudian dilakukan interpretasi dan pekerjaan studio untuk menghasilkan peta geologi, peta gomorfologi, peta sebaran manifestasi, dan peta pola pengaliran. Geomorfologi lokasi penelitian merupakan kompleks dari gunungapi yang masih bekerja hingga saat ini. Lokasi penelitian berada di sekitar G. Putri – Eweranda, dan G. Talagabodas. Analisis litologi sumur KRH X dilakukan secara megaskopis dan mikroskopis. Analisis megaskopis dilakukan membuat cutting chart dengan interval sampel cutting 3 – 5 meter. Analisis mikroskopis dilakukan setiap perbedaan litologi yg telah dianalisa megaskopis, didapatkan 15 sampel cutting dan 2 sampel core. Dari hasil analisis tersebut diperoleh 3 satuan batuan yang dibagi berdasarkan ciri litologinya, yaitu: satuan andesit piroksen terubah berada pada kedalaman 50 – 1000 mKU, satuan tuff terubah pada kedalaman 1700 – 1950 mKU dan 2250 – 2500 mKU, dan satuan andesit terubah pada kedalaman 1000 – 1700 mKU dan 1950 – 2250 mKU. Analisa XRD (X-Ray Diffraction) dilakukan pada 23 sampel serbuk bor (cutting), yaitu pada kedalaman (mKU) 55, 373, 772, 802, 826, 850, 874, 901, 916, 934, 952, 967, 985, 1000, 1018, 1051, 1075, 1099, 1627, 1819, 2101, 2317, dan 2485. Dari hasil analisis didapatkan zona Klorit – Kuarsa – Epidot dengan kisaran suhu pembentukan >200 – 350oC atau sebanding dengan zona propilitik, zona Serisit – Kuarsa – Klorit – Karbonat dengan kisaran suhu pembentukan >260oC atau sebanding dengan zona filik, dan zona Smektit – Kuarsa – Karbonat dengan kisaran suhu pembentukan <180oC atau sebanding dengan zona argilik. Sumur KRH X memiliki sistem dominasi uap dengan komponen sistem panasbumi berupa zona overburden berada pada kedalaman 0 – 50 mKU, zona penudung (cap rock) hadir pada kedalaman 55 – 1900 mKU, dan zona reservoir berada pada interval kedalaman >1900 mKU Study area is located in Karaha Bodas geothermal field, .Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, West Java Province. Geographically located at coordinates x: 176000-181000 and y: 9210000-9205000 with broad research area of 5x5 km2. Location of the study was on the well depth of the well KRH X with MKU 2500. The research method is the petrographic thin section analysis and analysis of X - Ray Diffraction (XRD) on a rock sample drilling results (cutting) and rock core (core), then do the interpretation and studio work to produce geological maps, maps gomorfologi, distribution maps manifestations, and map the drainage patterns. Geomorphology is the study site of a volcanic complex that still works to this day. Location of the study to be around G. Princess - Eweranda, and G. Talagabodas. Lithology analysis performed well KRH X megaskopis and microscopic. Analysis megaskopis do make cutting chart with sample intervals of cutting 3-5 meters. Microscopic analysis performed each lithological differences which have been analyzed megaskopis, obtained 15 samples of cutting and 2 core samples. From the analysis, obtained 3 lithologies are divided based on litologinya characteristics, namely: altered pyroxene andesite unit located at a depth 50-1000 MKU, altered tuff unit at a depth of 1700 to 1950 MKU and 2250-2500 MKU, and altered andesite unit at a depth of 1000 - MKU 1700 and 1950 to 2250 MKU. Analysis of XRD (X-Ray Diffraction) was performed on 23 samples of powder drill (cutting), namely at depth (MKU) 55, 373, 772, 802, 826, 850, 874, 901, 916, 934, 952, 967, 985, 1000, 1018, 1051, 1075, 1099, 1627, 1819, 2101, 2317, and 2485. From the analysis we Chlorite Zone - Quartz - epidote formation temperature range> 200 - 350oC or comparable with propylitic zone, zone Sericite - Quartz - chlorite - carbonate formation temperature range> 260oC or comparable with phyllic zone, and the zone of smectite - Quartz - Carbonate formation temperature range <180 C or comparable with argillic zone. Wells KRH X has a vapor-dominated system with a geothermal system components such as overburden zone is at a depth of 0-50 mKU, the screening zone (cap rock) is present at depths of 55-1900 mKU, and the reservoir zone is at a depth interval of> 1900 mKU
