Abstract
Penelitian dilakukan di PT. Sugih Alamanugroho yang berlokasi di Desa Bedoyo, Kecamatan Ponjong, Kabupaten Gunung Kidul, Propinsi DIY. Kegiatan peremukan batugamping yang dilakukan oleh unit peremuk batugamping bertujuan untuk memperkecil ukuran material batugamping menjadi ukuran 800 mesh dan 1200 mesh. Dalam operasi peremukan perusahaan menggunakan rangkaian peralatan yang terdiri dari hopper, belt conveyor, jaw crusher, hammer mill, grinding dan cyclone. PT. Sugih Alamanugroho mempunyai waktu kerja sebesar 14 jam/hari dan target produksi batugamping adalah 11,196 ton/jam atau 125 ton/hari. Permasalahan yang ada di unit peremuk batugamping adalah kurang terpenuhinya target produksi yang telah ditargetkan oleh perusahaan. Pada saat ini produksi batugamping baru mencapai 7,578 ton/jam atau 84,609 ton/hari, sehingga masih terjadi kekurangan sebesar 3,618 ton/jam atau 40,391 ton/hari. Dalam upaya pemenuhan sasaran produksi dilakukan 2 altenatif yaitu : yang pertama dengan meningkatkan waktu kerja efektif dari 669,9 menit/hari menjadi 740 menit/hari, sehingga dapat meningkatkan produksi menjadi sebesar 93,456 ton/hari dan sasaran produksi belum terpenuhi. Alternatif kedua dengan menambah jumlah pengumpanan dapat meningkatkan efektifitas peralatan dari 42,1% menjadi sebesar 62,2 %, sehingga dapat mencapai sasaran produksi yang telah ditentukan sebesar 125 ton/hari. The study was conducted at PT. Sugih Alamanugroho Bedoyo located in the Village, District Ponjong, Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta Province. The activities undertaken by crushing limestone crusher limestone unit aims to reduce the size of the limestone material to a size of 800 mesh and 1200 mesh. In the crushing operation companies use a series of tools which consists of a hopper, belt conveyor, jaw crusher, hammer mill, grinding and cyclone. PT. Sugih Alamanugroho have working time at 14 hours / day and limestone production target is 11,196 tonnes / hour or 125 tons / day. The problems that exist in the limestone crusher unit is less than the fulfillment of production targets that have been targeted by the company. At this time the limestone production reached 7.578 tons / h or 84.609 tons / day, so it is still a shortage of 3.618 tons / hour or 40,391 tons / day. In an effort to fulfill the production target made two alternatives, namely: first by increasing the effective working time of 669.9 minutes / day to 740 minutes / day, thus increasing production amounted to 93.456 tons / day and production targets have not been met. The second alternative to increase the amount of feed can increase the effectiveness of the equipment from 42.1% to 62.2%, so as to achieve the production targets that have been set at 125 tonnes / day.
