Abstract
The Village Law (UU No.6 of 2014), which came into effect in 2015, has become a necessity for village governments to implement. The realization of the Village Law is the achievement of village development goals that are the welfare of rural communities, by conducting financial management according to the needs of the village community, with transparent and accountable management. The specific purpose of this study is to provide direction for policy and governance research related to the enactment of UU No.6 of 2014 concerning villages, and how to manage village funds. The research method uses descriptive analysis method to analyze understanding of the implementation of UU No. 6 of 2014 related to village fund management. From the results of descriptive analysis the suitability level of the implementation of village fund management in Bantul district can be concluded as a whole in accordance with the required legislation (UU No.6 of 2014), along with the rules for its implementation (Permendagri No.20 of 2018).
