Abstract

The objectives of this research were to evaluation the stability of aggregate which has formed and find out visually the performance of fungal mycelium (with SEM photograph) that developed in the aggregate. The pots research was carried out in fiberglass house at Candi Gebang, Wedomartani, Ngemplak-Sleman. Method of experiment arranged in completely randomized design (CRD) with 4x4 factorial treatment pattern has repeated 3 times. The Dosage polyacrylamide (PAM) with code P0, P1, P2, P3 is respectively 0, 1.5, 3.0, 4.5 permil. The dosage of organic matter (OM) fresh leaf Glyrisidia sepium with the code B0, B1, B2, B3 respectively is 0, 1.5, 3.0, 4.5% weight. Parameters measured / observed is aggregate stability, available water capacity, visually appearance of fungal mycelium by SEM photograph. The results showed that, PAM can increase aggregate stability up to rather stable (62.77%). Similarly, the OM can increase aggregate stability up to rather stable (51.75%). The combination of PAM and OM are also able to increase aggregate stability. The highest achieved by treatment of P3B3 on dignity stable (66%). The result of fungal growth by SEM observation was, the higher the OM, the higher growing mycelium. Most it mycelium is on P3B3 treatment. Keywords: polyacrylamide, aggregate, mycelium.
