Abstract

This study relating to the financial management of the district government of Sleman to calculate the level of economic achievement of the economic performance of the activities undertaken units Sleman district government performance. The data used is the budget data from Sleman Bappeda office with fiscal year 2007 through fiscal year 2011. The Human Development Index is one indicator of the success of development and the mirror of accountability of government financial management is high. Results of this study, by using the method of measuring the ESF for the financial management of the district of Sleman economically obtain a score of 4, and the results of economic calculations more than 100%. Which means that the budget has accounted for a reasonable price to pay for the realization of the desired activity. It also means that public facilities provided by the district government of Sleman accessible to the public good. If it is associated with HDI is appropriate that education and health facilities received a very high value, while the component is still very low incomes. IPM achieved by local governments Slemanpun much higher than the average national HDI. Nevertheless the results of this study indicate that the components of the HDI value achieved uneven. In this case the income component has a low value indicates that the living standard is still great poverty / high. In the living standard conditions of poverty is still high, Sleman society remains resilient and education and health care for the well-facilitated accordance economy value calculated in this study. Things that need to be addressed is to improve competitiveness in order for the revenue to be balanced with other components (education and health).
