Abstract

PT. Minemex Indonesia ( PT. MMI ) is a company that focusing on coal mining field. Mining location of PT. Minemex Indonesia ( PT. MMI ) is in Mandiangin sub district of Sarolangun Regency in Jambi Province. Activities of coal transportation of PT. Minemex Indonesia ( PT. MMI ) at Block B is using mechanical Equipments such as Kobelco SK 330-8 and Mitsubishi 220 PS FN 527 ML. The Distance between front mining place to stockyard is approximated 1800 meters. PT.MMI have production target of coal mining in block B is 90.000 ton per months. Mean while the production can be reach until now is 70.000 ton per months. The unreached production of Block B of PT. Minemex Indonesia ( PT. MMI) coal mining caused of work efficiency that not optimal yet, the condition of haul road, and excavators with insufficient production capacity. At the time of the research PT MMI use 1 loading equipment and 5 hauler equipment with match factor 1,09 efficiency 79,9 % and 83 %. The houling road has 7 meters width. The efforts to reach the coal mining productions target of Block B is by increasing work time effectively so that increases the efficiency of equipments become 82 % in loading equipment and efficiency of hauler equipment become 86 %, mend the haul road geometry for optimal transportation of conveyans from 20,5 minutes of cycle time to 18 minutes. Mean while huling by hauler become obtained. The production after repaired in work time effectively and mend the haul road geometry increase 74.000 ton per month with an increase under production target. So need to added more loading equipment to reach production target and for balancing hauler production, mean while the production will get by theoretical is 123.000 ton per months
