Abstract

PT. Samudera Mulia Abadi is a mining service company located in Pinenek Village, Likupang Timur District, North Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi Province. Research location is in Pit Blambangan. Mining activities currently carried out using 1 unit Excavator Volvo EC-700Cl and 7 units Articulated Dump Truck Volvo A40F. The distance from the mining front In Pit Dump Padjajaran is 2057 meter. The problem that occurred at this time is the hauling equipment not reach 300 BCM/hour as the production target yet. The actual production on Pit Blambangan is 236.8 BCM/hour. This is due to the not optimal amount of bulk loading bucket, huilng road’s geometry not fulfill the strandard, and the low effective working time due to the constraints. Efforts can be made to reach the hauling equipment’s production target is increasing the bulk of the loading bucket, fix the haul road’s grade, and increasing effective working time by reducing the constraits time. The theoretical production of hauling equipment after these efforts increased from 236.8 BCM/hour to 315 BCM/hour.
