Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) company is one form of concern for the environment of a company. Currently CSR aims to maximize profits but also are required to accommodate the needs of the community and its stakeholders. This study aimed to provide empirical evidence of the influence of CSR on financial
performance. This study samples using 11 stated-owned enterprise (BUMN) listed at BEI period 2010-2014. The data used is the company's financial report released
every year. The sampling technique was purposive sampling method. This study uses the multiple regression analysis method. The results showed that during the period 2010-2014 for the cost of the partnership have an impact on the value of ROA significantly by 0.002, and the cost
of developing the community does not have an impact to ROA with significant value for 0.678. To study simultaneous influence of CSR on financial performance (ROA),
the result showed that corporate social responsibility affect dinancial performance. For future research can add the independent variable, or add proxy of financial
performance.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) merupakan salah satu bentuk kepedulian sebuah perusahaan terhadap lingkungan. Saat ini CSR bertujuan untuk memaksimalkan laba tetapi juga dituntut untuk lebih mengakomodasi kebutuhan
masyarakat dan stakeholder-nya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memberikan bukti empiris pengaruh CSR terhadap kinerja keuangan. Sampel penelitian ini
menggunakan 11 BUMN yang listing di BEI periode tahun 2010-2014. Data yang digunakan adalah laporan keuangan yang dikeluarkan perusahaan tiap tahun. Teknik
pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa selama periode 2010-2014 untuk biaya kemitraan berpengaruh terhadap ROA dengan nilai signifikan sebesar 0.002
dan biaya bina lingkungan tidak berpengaruh terhadap ROA dengan nilai signifikan sebesar 0.678. Untuk hasil penelitian secara simultan CSR berpengaruh terhadap
kinerja keuangan (ROA). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa corporate social responsibility berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan. Untuk penelitian yang
akan datang dapat menambah variabel independen atau menambah proksi kinerja keuangan.
