Abstract

Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan komoditi batubara sebagai power plant maka PT. Lematang Coal Lestari akan melakukan kegiatan penaksiran cadangan batubara, baik taksiran kuantitas (tonase) maupun taksiran kualitas di wilayah Gunung Raja, Kabupaten Muara Enim, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Data yang tersedia dari peta topografi dan hasil pemboran batubara yang diambil dari 23 lubang bor menunjukkan batubara di daerah penelitian memiliki ketebalan bervariasi dari 0,4 m – 17,69 m. Arah umum perlapisan Barat Laut – Tenggara dengan kemiringan yang bervariasi antara 3° - 10°. Ketebalan batubara maksimum pada titik bor GR-20 yaitu 17,69 meter dan ketebalan minimum terdapat pada titik bor GR-5 yaitu 0,4 meter. Adanya perbedaan ketebalan batubara yang ditaksirkan disebabkan oleh adanya proses pelapukan dan sedimentasi pada permukaan topografi yang berbeda-beda di tiap-tiap daerah diketahui bahwa kualitas batubara di daerah penelitian mengandung kalori berkisar 3.423 - 5.143 kcal/kg serta data analisa proksimat lainnya. Dengan kondisi lapangan yang merupakan perbukitan bergelombang maka dilakukanlah upaya penaksiran cadangan batubara dengan Metode Cross Section Standard berdasarkan Rule of Gradual Change dan Metode Cross Section Linier berdasarkan Rule of Nearest Point sebagai pembanding. Berdasarkan klasifikasi Amandemen 1-SNI-13-4726-1998, batubara pada daerah penelitian termasuk cadangan terbukti. Penaksiran cadangan batubara dilakukan dengan menggunakan Metode Cross Section Standard didapatkan tonase batubara sebesar 135.454.296 ton, sedangkan dengan Metode Cross Section Linier didapatkan tonase batubara sebesar 135.084.516 ton. Perbedaan hasil penaksiran cadangan dengan Metode Cross Section Standard dan Metode Cross Section Linier adalah sebesar 369.780 ton. Nilai Stripping Ratio Metode Cross Section Standard berdasarkan Rule of Gradual Change adalah 3,696 : 1 sedangkan nilai Stripping Ratio Metode Cross Section Linier berdasarkan Rule of Nearest Point adalah 3,704 : 1 Umur tambang dari cadangan dengan Metode Cross Section Standard adalah 50 tahun dan umur tambang dari cadangan dengan Metode Cross Section Linier adalah 50 tahun To meet the needs of comodities coal for power plants and PT.Lematang Coal Lestari will be conducting any activity estimates coal deposit, good estimates a quantity ( tonnage ) or estimates of quality in Gunungraja, kecamatan Rambang Dangku, kabupaten Muara Enim, Sumatera Selatan.
