Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui dosis dan macam pupuk organik yang memberikan respon terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil jagung manis. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Praktek Fakultas Pertanian UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta, Wedomartani, Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta pada bulan September sampai Desember 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) dengan 2 faktor dan ditambah 1 kontrol. Faktor pertama adalah macam pupuk organik yang terdiri atas 3 aras, yakni: P1 (Pupuk kandang sapi), P2 (Pupuk kandang kambing), P3 (Pupuk kompos). Faktor kedua adalah dosis pupuk yang terdiri atas 3 aras yakni: D1 (10 ton/ ha), D2 (20 ton/ ha), D3 (30 ton /ha) dan ditambah kontrol (NPK 300 kg/ha). Parameter pengamatan meliputi tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah daun ,umur berbunga, uiameter tongkol, bobot tongkol berkelobot per tanaman, Bobot tongkol berkelobot per petak, bobot tongkol berkelobot per hektar, bobot tongkol tanpa kelobot per tanaman, bobot tongkol tanpa kelobot per petak dan bobot tongkol tanpa kelobot per hektar dan bobot segar berangkasan. Hasil pengamatan dianalisis keragamannya pada jenjang nyata 5%. Untuk mengetahui beda nyata antar perlakuan dilakukan Uji Duncan pada taraf uji 5% dan untuk menguji rata-rata perlakuan faktorial dengan kontrol digunakan uji kontras orthogonal. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Pupuk organik dosis 20 ton/ha dan 30 ton/ha memberikan nila tertinggi dan hasil terbaik pada parameter diameter tongkol, bobot tongkol berkelobot dan bobot tongkol tanpa kelobot. Kata kunci : Jagung manis, Dosis dan Pupuk Organik iv ABSTRACT The objective of the experiment is to know the effect of type and doses of organic fertilizer for the growth and yield of sweet corn. The study was conducted on experimental garden in faculty of Agriculture in UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta, Wedomartani, from september 2017 to december 2017. The study adopted group randomly design with factorial 2 factor and 1 control. The first factor is types organic fertilizer with 3 levels : P1 (cow manur), P2 (goat manure), and P3 (compost). The second factor is doses of organic fertilizer with 3 levels : D1 (10 ton/ha), D2 (20 ton/ha) and D3 (30 ton/ha) and control (NPK 300 kg/ha). Parameters observed plant height, trunk diameter, number of leaves, days to flowering, cob diameter, weight of cob by the plant, weight of cob without cornhusk and the wet weight of the plant. The observed result is analyzed its diversity at 5% real level. To know the real difference between treatments was done Duncan Test at 5% test level and to test the average of factorial treatment with control used orthogonal contrast test. The results showed that the treatment of compost doses of 20 tons / ha and 30 tons / ha on the outcome parameters of cob diameter, weighted cob weight and weightless cob weight gave the highest value and best result.
