Abstract
Narasi berita memiliki makna tersembunyi yang di buat oleh jurnalis. Bagaimana peristiwa diceritakan, dan bagaimana aktor-aktor yang diberitakan oleh media ditempatkan dalam karakter dan penokohan tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana struktur narasi dan karakter Setya Novanto pada Laporan Utama Majalah Tempo tentang kasus korupsi e-KTP edisi 20-26 November 2017. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori naratif, untuk mengetahui struktur dan karakter yang ada di dalam laporan utama majalah Tempo, penelitian ini menggunakan struktur narasi Tzvetan Torodov dan Karakter Vladimir Propp. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam laporan utama majalah Tempo yang berjudul Satu Perkara Seribu Drama, Tempo menggunakan struktur narasi yang saling melengkapi dengan menggunakan alur flashback. Susunan struktur tersebut di pilih Tempo agar pembaca tertarik untuk membaca beritanya dan berusaha menjelaskan peristiwa yang terjadi di dunia melalui berita. Ditemukan juga empat karakter dalam narasi yaitu karakter penjahat, donor (penderma), pengirim dan pahlawan. Dalam narasi ini, bagian paling besar menonjolkan karakter ‘penjahat’ yaitu Setya Novanto yang merupakan tersangka korupsi. Tempo menunjukkan karakter Setya dalam beritanya dengan memakai sudut pandang pahlawan (KPK). Kata kunci : Analisis Naratif, Struktur, Karakter, Tempo ii ABSTRACT Narrative news has a hidden meaning made by journalists. How events are told, and how the actors reported by the media are placed in certain characters and characterizations. This study aims to find out how the structure of narrative and character SetyaNovanto in Tempo Magazine Main Report about e-KTP corruption case edition 20-26 November 2017. The theory used in this research is the narrative theory, to know the structure and characters that exist in main report of Tempo magazine research uses the narrative structure of TzvetanTorodov and the Vladimir Propp Character. The results show that in Tempo magazine's main report, One Thousand Drama, Tempo uses a complementary narrative structure using flashback. The arrangement of the structure is selected as Tempo so that readers interested to read the news and trying to explain the events that occur in the world through news. Also found four characters in the narrative are the character of the villain, the donor, the sender and the hero. In this narrative, the greatest part accentuates Setya's character who is a corrupt suspect as a criminal. Tempo also shows Setya's character in his story by using the hero's point of view (KPK).
