Abstract

PT. Mitrabara Adiperdana, Tbk is a coal mining company located in Loreh Sub-district, Malinau district, North Kalimantan province. The problem faced is not reaching the production target of coal stripping. PT. Mitrabara Adiperdana has a production target of 90,000 tons / month. At the coal stripping activity at PT. Mitrabara Adiperdana uses 1 unit of Caterpillar 329 D Excavator Backhoe and 10 units of Hino FM 260 JD Dump Truck. From the data obtained that cyclical loading time is 24 seconds for loading equipment and 4202 second for hauling equipment with haul road distance from the mining front to the coal stockpile is 11.3 km. Work efficiency for loading equipment 77% and hauling equipment 74%. The actual produced 1 fleet at Pit Yarder can be produced 81,474 ton / month on loading equipment Excavator Backhoe Caterpillar 329 and 75,840 ton / month on hauling equipment Truck Hino FM 260 JD . Therefore, to meet the production target of 90,000 tons / month, there is still a lack of production of loading equipment of 8,526 tons / month and hauling equipment of 14,160 tons / month. To increase production targets can be done by improving the cycle time of loading and hauling equipment then improving work efficiency of loading and hauling equipment. Production after the repair for the loading equipment is 96,744 tons / month and 90,888 tons / month for hauling equipment
