Abstract
Kabupaten Kepulauan Yapen adalah salah satu Kabupaten di Provinsi Papua. Kabupaten ini memiliki luas wilayah hanya 0,74% dari Provinsi Papua. Sebelumnya Kabupaten ini bernama Kabupaten Yapen Waropen, yang dibentuk berdasarkan Undang-Undang Nomor 12 Tahun 1969 tentang Pembentukan Provinsi Otonom Irian Barat dan Kabupaten-kabupaten Otonom di Provinsi Irian Barat. Perubahan nama ini dilatarbelakangi agar tidak terjadi duplikasi nama, sehingga berdasarkan Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 40 Tahun 2008, nama Kabupaten Yapen Waropen diubah namanya menjadi Kabupaten Kepulauan Yapen. Untuk penelitian ini sendiri akan di khususkan untuk Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah Pertambangan di Kabupaten Kepulauan Yapen, hal ini di dasarkan karena Kabupaten ini memiliki Bahan Galiam yaitu: batu andesit, batu gamping, batu pasir, batubara dan mineral logam. Permasalahan yang terjadi saat ini di Kabupaten Kepulauan Yapen adalah belum adanya Analisis Struktur ruang dan pola ruang wilayah kabupaten Kepeluan Yapen yang berhubungan dengan pertambangan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis peta daerah Kabupaten Kepulauan Yapen, didapatkan dua jenis bahan galian yaitu bahan galian batuan dan bahan galian logam. Bahan galian batuan tersebar di bagian pesisir timur Kabupaten Kepulauan Yapen pada daerah Waindu dan daerah Tatui pada bagian barat Kota Serui. Daerah dengan potensi penambangan bahan galian logam terdapat pada Distrik Poom dan Distrik Yobi. Yapen Islands regency is one of regencies in Papua. The district has an area of only 0.74% of the province of Papua. The district previously named Yapen Waropen, created by Law Number 12 Year 1969 on the Establishment of the Autonomous Province of West Irian and Autonomous Districts in the province of West Irian. This change in the wake in order to avoid duplication of names, so that based on Government Regulation No. 40 Year 2008, the name Yapen Waropen renamed to Yapen Islands District. For the study itself will be in dedicated for Spatial Planning in the District Mining Yapen Islands, it is based because this district has Minerals namely: andesite, limestone, sandstone, coal and metallic minerals. The problems that occurred today in the District of Yapen Islands is the absence of spatial structure analysis and spatial pattern Kepeluan Yapen district associated with mining. Based on the analysis of Yapen Islands District area map, we obtained two types of minerals that rock minerals and metallic minerals. Material excavated rocks scattered on the east coast of the Islands District Yapen Waindu and regional areas in the western part of town Tatui Serui. Areas with mining potential of metallic minerals contained in the District and the District Yobi Poom.
