Abstract

ABSTRACT PT. Batu Mulyo Berjaya is one of the andesite stone mining company in Cilacap Regency, which operates in Ciwuni Village, Kesugihan District, Cilacap Regency, Central Java Province. Andesite raw materials to meet market needs are obtained through direct mining located in Ciwuni Village Kesugihan District, Cilacap Regency, Central Java Province. PT. Batu Mulyo Berjaya has initially performed a reserve calculation with a yield of 825.000 BCM with an estimated mine life of 8,5 years. Some of the reserves have been mined to meet market needs and construction of buildings, roads, crushing plants built using andesite rocks mined from the IUP of PT. Batu Mulyo Berjaya. Therefore it is necessary to evaluate the reserve back to ensure the age of the mine and the subsequent planning. Based on the research, it was found that the thickness of the cover layer was 1 m with the lowest elevation 59 mdpl and the highest elevation was 119 mdpl. Next is calculated by Cross Section method for making the incision by cutting the average topography at 5 m North-South incision distance obtained by volume equal to 662.428,34 m3, while calculation of reserve estimation by contour method obtained by volume of andesite stone reserve equal to 638.303,05 m3. The result of evaluation of current condition there is difference of reserve amount because company use cross section method with spacing between incision 15 m calculated up to elevation 70 m which is considered can not represent topography condition while in this research using contour method with spacing between incision 5 m calculated up to elevation 65 m which is assumed can represent condition of topography of research area . In this research, the age of mine on the cross section method is 7,5 years and for the contour method is 7 years. The andesite rock reserves at the research sites are classified as proved reserves.
