Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk kandang sapi dan zeolit terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil dan interaksi antar perlakuan tersebut pada budidaya ubi jalar di lahan pasir pantai. Percobaan dilaksanakan di lahan pesisir Dusun Ngepet, Desa Srigading, Bantul, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta pada bulan Mei hingga Agustus 2017. Percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap, dengan 2 faktor yakni dosis pupuk kandang sapi K1:10 ton/ha, K2:15 ton/ha, K3:20 ton/ha, K4:25 ton/ha dan dosis zeolit Z1:0 kg/ha, Z2:250 kg/ha, Z3:500 kg/ha, Z4:750 kg/ha sehingga menjadi 16 kombinasi perlakuan dan diulang 3 kali dalam blok sehingga terdapat 48 petak percobaan. Data pengamatan dianalisis secara sidik ragam dengan jenjang nyata 5% pada uji F selanjutnya di uji dengan Uji Jarak Berganda Duncan (UJBD) pada jenjang nyata 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan beda nyata pertumbuhan terlihat pada panjang sulur 14 hst, bobot segar brangkasan 14 hst dan 28 hst, bobot kering brangkasan 14 hst dan 28 hst. Pada parameter hasil ubi jalar terdapat beda nyata pada bobot umbi per petak tanaman. Interaksi terdapat pada perlakuan dosis pupuk kandang sapi 15 ton/ha dan zeolit 500 kg/ha yakni pada peningkatan bobot segar brangkasan dan bobot umbi per petak tanaman. Kata kunci: Pupuk Kandang Sapi, Ubi jalar, Zeolit. iv ABSTRACT This research aims to know effect of cow manure and zeolite dosage on growth and yields, interaction between treatments on the cultivation of sweet potatoes in coastal sand. This research was conducted in coastal plain of Ngepet Sub-Village, Srigading Village, Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta on May to August 2017. The trial used Complete Randomized Blok Design with 2 factors while dosage of cow manure K1:10 tons/ha, K2:15 tons/ha, K3:20 tons/ha, K4:25 tons/ha and dosage of zeolit Z1:0 kg/ha, Z2:250 kg/ha, Z3:500 kg/ha, Z4:750 kg/ha resulting in 16 treatment combinations and repeated 3 times in blocks so there are 48 experimental plots. Observation data were analyzed by level 5% on F test then further tested with Duncans Multiple Range Test (DMRT) level 5%. The result showed a real growth difference seen in long tendrils 14 dap, fresh weight of stover 14 dap and 28 dap, dry weight of stover 14 dap and 28 dap on the yield parameters of sweet potato there is real difference on tuber weight per plant plot. The interaction is in dosage of cow manure 15 tons/ha and zeolite 500 kg/ha treatment on the increase of fresh weight of stover and tuber weight per plant plot Keywords: Cow Manure, Sweet Potato, Zeolite
