Abstract

PT. Stargate Pasific Resources is a mining company located in Langgikima Subdistrict, Konawe Utara District, Southeast Sulawesi Province. The study sites are in pit A7. The mining system applied is an open pit system. PT. Stargate Pacific Resources set the target of ore production for A7 pit of 35,000 tons / month. The process of mining ore materials using mechanical tools 1 unit Excavator Kobelco Sk 330 serves 3 units Isuzu Giga EX4 Dump Truck with a distance of 696 meters to Stockpile area. The problems that occur are the unmet fulfillment of production from the loading and transportation equipment so that the production target has not been reached yet. Current production capability is 29,920.8 tons / month. Not achieving production targets due to the large amount of wasted work time are to work barriers both avoidable obstacles and unavoidable obstacles. With these barriers will minimize effective working time causing low work efficiency. Efforts to increase production can be done by increasing the effective time so that its production increased from 29,920.8 tons / month to 31,939.9 tons / month and has not fulfilled the production target. To increase the production, it is done by repairing the haul road and the addition of bulk quantity 1 times then the production becomes 41.044,2 ton / month and has fulfilled the production target, so that the work harmony factor become 0,56. To be able to achieve production objectives should be supervised on the work time that has been set to prevent barriers that occur during the work and the need for the standard calculation of time barriers so as to facilitate control
