Abstract
PT. Lafarge Cement Indonesia merupakan perusahan yang bergerak dibidang
pertambangan dimana kegiatan penambangan batu amping dilakukan oleh PT.
Macmahon Indonesia selaku kontraktor dari Perusahan PT. Lafarge Cement
Indonesia. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan pada Quarry I level 130. Penambangan
batugamping saat ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan 1 alat angkut Excavator
Backhoe Caterpillar 390D dan 3 unit alat muat Dump Truck Caterpillar 773B.
Jarak angkut dari front penambangan menuju Hopper adalah 1.150 meter.
Permasalahan yang terjadi saat ini adalah belum tercapainya target produksi
batugamping sebesar 5.500 ton/hari. Produksi aktual pada Quarry I level 130
dengan kombinasi alat muat dan alat angkut sebesar 4.948 ton/hari. Hal ini
disebabkan rendahnya waktu kerja efektif akibat dari hambatan - hambatan yang
ada sehingga efisiensi kerja alat menjadi rendah.
Upaya yang dapat dilakukan agar target produksi batugamping tercapai yaitu
dengan meningkatkan waktu kerja efektif alat angkut sehingga efisiensi kerja alat
angkut meningkat dari 75,94% menjadi 78,39%. Produksi teoritis batugamping
setelah meningkatkan waktu kerja efektif alat angkut meningkat dari 5.052
ton/hari menjadi 5.659 ton/hari.
ABSTRACT
PT. Lafarge Cement Indonesia is a mining company where limestone mining
activities do by PT. Mcmahon Indonesia as contractor from PT. Lafarge Cement
Indonesia. Research location is in Quarry I level 130. Limestone mining activities
currently carried out using 1 unit Excavator Backhoe Caterpillar 390D and
3 units Dump Truck Caterpillar 773B. The distance from the mining front to
hopper is 1.150 meter.
The problem that occurred at this time is not reached its production target
of limestone of 5.500 tons / day. The actual production on Quarry I level 130 with
a combination of load and haul transport is 4.948 tons/day. this is due to the low
effective working time resulting from the existing constraints so that the work
efficiency of the equipment is low and the condition of the haulageway that has
not met the minimum.
Efforts that can be done so that the limestone production target is can
achieved by increasing the effective working time so that the work efficiency of the
equipment increases from 75,94% to 83,67% for hauling. The theoretical
production of limestone after increasing the effective working time increases from
5.052 tons/day to 5.659 tons/day.
