Abstract

The purpose of the research is to map the distribution of C-Organic in the soil on the different depth s pasca bricks mining. The research conducted in the six villages at Potorono Banguntapan District of Bantul Yogyakarta in the 2016. The method of this research was using survey techniques. Purposive methods was used to make soil sampling pasca bricks mining in the Potorono Banguntapan Yogyakarta. The result of this research is an organic carbon map at several depths pasca bricks mining. After the bricks mining the C-organic content is under 1% in 27,63 hectare. The content of C-organic are different in eacch depths and it depends on the area. On the depth of the mining 100 until 300 centimeters, the content of C-organic in the soil is about 0,2-0,8%. On the depth of the mining 100 centimeters, the content of the C-organic is about 0,6-0,8%. Meanwhile, on the depth of 300 centimeters, the content of the C-organic ia about 0,2-0,4%. In order to achieve the maximum productivity, the required content of C-organic about approximately 2% for agriculture sustainability. Before the bricks mining, the land was able to produce 7-9 tonnes of rice per hectare. Meanwhile after the mining, the land is only able to produce 4-6 tonnes of rice per hectare.
