Abstract

Research aims: 1 to obtain mother trees based on morphological characters of quality Jackfruit and jackfruit chemical character. 2. Obtain cuttings grafting material (entries) to meet the demand for superior jackfruit seeds. The experiment was conducted in June 2011 to December 2011 in Sleman regency. Future studies using positive selection method which is chosen based on phenotype parent tree jackfruit tree and the resulting criteria. to obtain the necessary data to make observations, measurements jackfruit tree and fruit physical analysis and analysis of sugar, vitamin A, and the moisture content of meat jackfruit. Data from laboratory analysis of variance was tested using an alpha of 5% and further tested using LSD alpha 5%. Result: 1. The genotype and genotype SE SMYT developed as a potential parent tree to produce large fruit weighing between 15-30 kg. 2 .Genotipe MRY, SGY and potential WKJ jackfruit developed to produce high sugar levels. 3. Genotype UPNWD, DLM and genotyping SWD and potential RKM developed to produce sweet jackfruit and high vitamin A content.
